Avi's Office

" Wow this is not normal sight to see. Avi being smiley while working? I wonder." Crys said as soon as she barged in the office. This made Avi chuckled.

"What do you want?" Avi asked as she turn to Crys.

"Don't smile nga, nakakabother." Crys said as she sat on the couch and cross her legs.

Avi just shake her head and dial on their telephone.

"Coffee for two please." Avi put down the telephone and walk to Crys then sat with her.

"What's the score between you two?" Crys asked that made Avi knitted her brows.

"What kind of question is that?" Avi defend as she smile to her secretary who walk in with coffee.

"Thank you." Avi said as she turn to Crys again.

"Normal question. So ano nga? Ano kayo?  Hindi na kayo bata ha." Crys said as she lift her coffee and take a sip. Avi did the same.

"We are, uh I don't know." Avi realize they never really talk about it.

"You guys share a room and maybe even sleep together for God only knows. You guys frequently going out on a date, only if you consider it as one. You guys are together most of the time. And you don't know what is that?" Crys explains as she put away her coffee.

"I don't know Crys." Avi said

"What do you feel about her?" Crys asked while looking intently to Avi.

"I have no exact word to describe it, but I can really tell na the way she care for me there's a sense of familiarity. I don't know pero parang kami yata ang partner sa past life namin." Avi said as she chuckled. Crys didn't say anything.

"But I don't know if we're on the same page. Kasi sometimes I can feel na she's holding back. I'm confused because she keep giving me mixed signals." Avi said with so much emotions.

"Just like the other day when I was about to kiss her on cheek she avoid it. I asked her naman what's wrong pero she didn't say anything about it." Avi massage her temple and let out a sighed.

"Do you think she feel the same way?" Avi asked Crys who's looking at her.

"Only her can answer that question." Crys replied.

"I guess, I should ask her." Avi said.

After their talk, Crys bid her goodbye and walk out the office.

"You heard that?" Crys asked the woman standing in front of her.

"Don't waste your chance, Mavi." Crys give her a light tap on shoulder before she walk away.

Mavi was left there alone with frown on her face.

'This doesn't feel right.'

Avi put her phone away and decided to get some sleep. But no matter how hard she tried, she just can't sleep.

"Arghh" She said with frustration.

She walk out the room and went to kitchen to get some water.

"Ano bang problema Mavi?" She asked herself.

She sat down on the dining chair as she buried her face on her palm.

"Why are you doing this to me?"

"You made me feel so special tapos bigla na lang mawawala? You didn't even bother to at least tell me what's wrong." Avi didn't notice she's already crying.

"Isang linggo ka nang walang paramdam."

"Lord please tell me what's wrong." she sniff.

"Hindi ako si Lord pero I will tell you na walang mali sayo."

Avi turn to the person who spoke then she saw Jeremiea who leaning her back on the wall with her arms cross above her chest.

"Don't cry. Because sometimes having no message is a message Avi." Jeremiea said as she walk up to Avi and pat her head.

"Can I have my bestfriend attention na?" Jeremiea offer a soft smile to her.

'I will ask for attention na kasi alam ko kapag masaya ka na hindi mo na ako maaalala.'
