Mavi called someone.

A few moments after her door swung open then revealed her cousin. Melarie.

"Melarie, can you please open my account I need that. " She said as soon as the woman walked in.

"I thought you will only open that when Avi gains her memory?" Melarie asked in confusion.

"I think that won't happen anymore." Mavi replied.

"What? Are you losing your hope already?After 4 years of waiting you are just giving up like that?" Melarie asked as she sat beside her cousin.

"Exactly it's been 4 years and still nothing, Mel.Not everything will be worth the wait. Maybe there's a reason for her not to remember anything about me anymore." Mavi weakly said.

"But aren't you happy? She still loves you even she can't remember you as her wife? Her mind may not remember you but her heart always meant to love you." Melarie tried to change her mind.

"I know that. But you know that I will not be able to live any longer." Mavi firmly said.

"I understand." Melarie just nodded at her as she tapped her thigh.

"Do you know why I'd rather chose not to bring her memory back? " Mavi asked.

"I wonder. " Melarie shrugged her shoulders.

"Because I don't want her to suffer the same way I did. I don't want her to blame herself for what happened. I don't want her to remember the pain of losing everything. I want her just to be happy. I love that woman so much." Mavi said. Her eyes seemed lost and empty but her heart was heavy with so much burden and pain in it.

"She deserves to know Mavi. You can't always catch all of the pain for her. What if one day you were not able to catch it anymore? How can survive if she doesn't have any idea about getting hurt? Never put yourself in that kind of situation where you're always gonna get hurt. You also deserve to be happy. We all deserve happiness." Melarie explained as she stared at her with sympathy.

"Thank you, Mel." Mavi smiled at her but it didn't reach her eyes.

"I will be going back to Cebu." Melarie replied.

"Take care of yourself okay?" Melarie pulled her to a hug.

After what happened, Jeremiea chose to go back to Cebu. She immediately went to Avi to explain everything. This is the only thing she can do after what she does.

Jeremiea saw Avi havi her alone time near the seaside. She smiled sadly as she walked up to her.

"Avi." She called. Avi turned to her.

"What are you doing here?" Avi seems distant. Jeremiea understand.

"I'm sorry" She said.

"Sorry for what? For lying?" Avi asked her. Jeremiea shook her head and sat beside her.

"You haven't talked to Mavi yet?" Jeremiea slowly asked because she really didn't know what to say.

"There is nothing for us to talk about." Avi avoids her gaze.

"There a lot to talk about." Jeremiea pushed the topic.

"What's the point of talking to someone who is married?" Avi's tone raise slightly. As she is sensitive to this topic.

"You really don't remember anything?" Jeremiea desperately asked her.

"I don't have energy for that Jeremeia." Avi walked away but Jeremiea quickly followed her.

"Mavi is married, yes. And you're the wife." She explained as she tried to stop Avi from walking.

"Enough with that joke." Avi harshly slaps her hand away.

"Believe me! Avierelle Quency Salvador Quijaho! That's you." Jeremiea rubbed her face using her palm in frustration.

"I am Avierelle Salvador." Avi emphasize.

"You and Mavi got into a car accident 4 years ago." Jeremiea knew she needed to do this, no matter what it takes.

"What are you doing Jeremeia? " Crys interrupt them.

"I am just telling the truth! She needs to know! " Jeremeia frustratingly said.

"What is this all about?Tell me what this is all about! I don't understand! You are making it so hard for me." Avi look back in fort. She can't understand anything.

"Shut it Avi! Stop it already Je! You cannot force Avi to remember anything, you will only cause harm to her! " Crys screamed that made Avi flinched but she recovered quickly.

"Enough! Both of you! I'm so sick with these mind games of yours! Just let her say whatever she wants Crys. Let her speak because I know that you will never bother to clear things up for me. So please, just please let her speak!"
Avi yelled at them.

"No! You  don't need to hear anything  from her. Let's get inside Avi." Crys shook her head stubbornly.

"But what about Mavi? She needs Avi right now! Mavi needs her wife! " Jeremeia glare at Crys. The latter suddenly grabbed her collar.

"Since when do you care about Mavi? It doesn't suit you! Stop acting like that, you don't care about her!E diba nga nandito ka kasi gusto mong mahalin ka ni Avi but Avirelle Quihano is gone! So cut the crap already because the Avirelle we have here right now is Salvador! Keep that in your mind!" Crys is beyond mad. Avi can't process everything she heard right now.

"Let's get inside Avi" Melarie suddenly appeared as she held Avi close to her.

"Mavi is dying and the only person she got there is Gleen." Jeremeia desperately said as she fell down on her knees.

"And that is exactly what you want! Aren't you happy? Mavi is dying and that is all because of you! How can you do that to her? She's so precious to lose. She wants nothing but to have a happy family with Avi! But because of you she lost everything! She lost her wife and her baby in just a snap!" Crys heavily breathing as she can stop herself from screaming her heart out.

"What? a baby? I didn't know about that. Believe me." Jeremiea's eyes widened as she covered her mouth for shock.

"You are so heartless Je. How can you do that! How!? My Mavi! Why her! You will never understand how painful it is for me to watch her everyday. She barely stays alive! You will never understand how painful it is!" Crys also fell down on her knees as she sob painfully.
