The morning light filtered through the curtains of Y/N's room as she sat on the edge of her bed, deep in thought. The events of the previous night weighed heavily on her, but there was something more pressing on her mind—finding out what really happened to Elena.

Y/N had made up her mind. She needed to go back to the wedding hall, the place where it all began. It had been quiet and empty since Elena's disappearance, with no other events held there. If there were any clues left, they would still be there. She had to be careful, though. Taehyung was already suspicious, and if he found out she was going to investigate, he would never let her go.

She picked up her phone and quickly sent a message to Jimin, letting him know about her plan. They agreed to meet at the wedding hall later that morning. Jimin had always been someone she could rely on, and as a police officer, he had the experience and resources to help her dig deeper into Elena's disappearance.

Y/N knew she had to be discreet. She couldn't afford to let Taehyung know where she was going. After getting dressed, she quietly opened her door, peeking out into the hallway. It was quiet—too quiet. She didn't hear any signs of Taehyung, but she knew better than to assume he wasn't around.

Carefully, Y/N tiptoed down the stairs, making sure to avoid any creaky spots on the floor. She made her way to the front door, her heart pounding in her chest. Just as she reached for the handle, she froze, hearing footsteps coming from the direction of Taehyung's room.

Panic surged through her, and she quickly ducked into the small coat closet near the door, holding her breath as she listened. The footsteps grew louder, and she could tell Taehyung was walking towards the stairs. He paused for a moment, and Y/N's heart raced even faster, wondering if he had somehow sensed her presence.

After what felt like an eternity, the footsteps resumed, heading towards the kitchen. Y/N waited until she was sure he was out of sight before carefully opening the closet door. She slipped out silently, grabbing her coat and shoes as quickly as she could without making any noise.

Finally, she eased the front door open and slipped outside, closing it gently behind her. The cool morning air hit her face, and she let out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. She had made it out undetected, but she knew she couldn't let her guard down.

Y/N hurried down the driveway, glancing back at the mansion one last time to make sure Taehyung hadn't noticed her departure. Satisfied that she was in the clear, she made her way to the car and started the engine, driving off to meet Jimin at the wedding hall.

Y/N arrived at the wedding hall, parking her car a little distance away to avoid drawing attention. The building stood quietly, its grand entrance no longer adorned with flowers or filled with the sound of laughter. The emptiness of the place was unsettling, a stark contrast to the chaos that had unfolded here not too long ago.

She spotted Jimin waiting near the side entrance, his expression serious but welcoming. He waved her over as she approached.

"You made it," Jimin said, giving her a reassuring smile. "Are you ready?"

Y/N nodded, her nerves on edge but her determination stronger than ever. "I have to find out what happened, Jimin. I can't let this go."

Jimin nodded, understanding the weight of the situation. "Let's start inside. We'll check the bridal room first and then move through the hall."

They entered through the side door, the sound of their footsteps echoing in the empty space. The hall was dimly lit, with only the light from the windows casting long shadows across the floor. Y/N's heart ached as she looked around, remembering how happy Elena had been just hours before the wedding was supposed to take place.
