An excerpt from my latest serialized fictional narrative, "The Mystic Poet," now available to read in full on Amazon Vella, being written in real time.

Episode 3 Excerpt:

As David walks over slowly, he starts to think to himself, "How would she know? No way she knows. Hey Mom. What's up?"

Maybe,--maybe it is time. Boy has nothing else going for him. I never knew much of what his Father did to end up in a meditative death, but,--." She pauses, "David sure does have a way with expression. His father was no De La Soul Child, bet your bottom shoe on it. All the tales tell the truth and I think David is just as delusional as his Father." She takes a few deep breaths. You can see her heart beating anxiously. "I just hope David will be ok. I just know he will some up tomorrow at 4 A.M." All of a sudden she jumps onto her bed and screams! "4 A.M is quite a distance from 2 P.M".

Unsure of what she meant by this, but she knew. She knew very well, but that time has not come,...that time has yet to come.
