"Kenji, wake up,time for school" shoto knocks one's more at the door.
Then the door burst open in one go "crap! I fell asleep!"
"Ah- eat without me shoto, I'm late for school! Ah- bye! Have a good day at work"
And then he storms out almost crashing into someone on his way out "oops Sorry!" He shooted.
There's a particular reason why he's at a harry today a reason other than school...
Today is the 14th year anniversary of numbers 1# and 2# heroes...disappearance.
The legendary IZUKU MIDORIYA - BAKUGOU and KATSUKI BAKUGOU.
Kenji's hero's... they're the reason he wants to be a hero, he's been watching their fights since he was 5 and instantly a spark ignited.
Everyone seems to have given up but kenji has hope..he believes that they're alive and will make it out of what ever trouble they're in.
Today kenji did the one thing he never does...Lie to shoto,he wanted to pray and pay his respects to Japan's symbol's of peace...he owned them that at least since..they disappeared rescueing him as a baby before shoto adopted him.
He sneaked to the ceremony wrote his wishes and light up the lantern in sync with the rest of the world.
That evening...
"Ehem" Kenji jumped before turning to look at shoto "h-hey..shoto...how was work??"
"Where were you?" He asked with an obviously angry but low voice
"I was a-" shoto cut him off before he could finish "and don't you dare lie to me, school called they were asking if you were sick cause you didn't show up"
"I.. you're right, I'm sorry"
"That's not what I asked"
"I went to light a wish.."
"Light a wish?..- " his expression softened "ah- Kenji,why didn't you tell me you wanted to go??"
Kenji looked down his blond hair blocking his view "it's just that you were really close friends with them.. I didn't wanna make you sad...you always have a sad face whenever you talk about them"
Shoto looked at him lovingly"oh Kenji,you don't have to think like that, it's been 14 years it doesn't bother me anymore..and I'M the adult here YOU'RE the kid I should be taking care of you not the other way around...and NO more lying,okay?"
"Okay, I'm sorry "
Shoto hugged his son and then went to prepare dinner...
