Kenji opened his eyes..a nurse was injecting him with something ,then she looked at him and gasped.
She run out the room saying something about him being awake.. Kenji sat up on the bed still hurting all over.
He heard commotion out the room "you can't see him yet we have to do some tests an-"
"He's my son, I have every right! Get out of my way!"
Kenji heard straggling the then the door burst open ,both Kenji and shoto's eyes widened..."D-dad..?" He couldn't recognize he's own voice as if he hadn't spoken in years..
"Dad!" He spoke again this time louder and more sure of it.
Shoto run to his side and hugged him so hard kenji thought he was gonna faint but he didn't push him away,he embraced the hug,a few hours ago he was questioning whether he was gonna see him again,he still had not things between them, he still hadn't apologized, he still hasn't told him how he felt...
"Dad... I'm sorry" he said as he cried in his father's arms "I'm so sorry for what I said back then...how cold I was to you... I'm sorry it was stupid... awful"
"No, it's Okay Kenji you where right... I shouldn't have lied to you"
"I..I love you dad"
Shoto tightened his grip "I love you too, Kenji...more than anything"
Shoto left after cause they needed to do some tests to see if it was safe to send him home,he was asleep for a week after all...
When he finally made it home he had a lot of catching up to do if he wanted to make it to UA.
It was exam week,he studied his ass off but it was worth it,he passed with flying colors.
Though it didn't end there....he studied and trained day and night all summer for his entrance exams at UA but not only that..he refused to be dead weight again...and be underestimated by some scumbag like that pathetic lowlife villain that took advantage of him...
3 months later...
After passing the written exam it was time for the real thing...
He didn't want to admit it but he was kinda nervous
And it seemed like he wasn't the only one he looked at a boy beside him literally trembling that made him feel better.
"Hey, aren't you that boy that got stabbed 3 months ago" Kenji looked at his other side to see a blue haired boy with brown eyes looking at him.
"Huh? Do I know you?" He said coldly
"Shisshhh, sorry I didn't mean it in a mean kind of way I was genuinely asking, I'm Ren what's your-"
"I'm NOT interested"
"Oh don't be like that man, what's the harm in making friends?''
"We're not friends we're rivals" Kenji paused and looked him up and down then continued"tho I'm guessing not for much longer"
He didn't wait for an answer and launched forward as the exam started..
