It's been 2 months and the time for the sports festival had arrived.

Ren and Kenji spend days Locked in Kenji's room studying every possible opponent, including each other...

They were as ready as they could be.

It was the day of the sports festival and they were halfway through with it, Kenji and Ren where sitting at the grandstands watching a match though Kenji couldn't really focus with a set of eyes surprisingly not kai's glaring at him.

He decided to go check who he is up against and immediately it all made sense he was against the guy opening holes at the back of his head,shiro.

He went inside to prepare for his fight, thinking of strategies and going over ideas in his head with Ren doing the same about his fight.

A while later they were headed back upstairs and bumped right into him staring intensly at him which made him wanna glare back,he was do focused on his staring contest with his soon to be opponent that he didn't realize kai coming through the same direction shiro came looking confused at the scene.

Just then Ren came to the rescue in his usual unhinged way,he got between them putting a hand around Kenji and the other to his chest pushing lightly to make him black off as he said "as fun as silently inviting my extremely dangerous, 5 feet ball of daddy and anger issues that not even therapy can fix,best friend to a death match is..."
He waited a few seconds for a reaction that never came from neither as they continued glaring and continued

"We have places to be and getting killed here and now it's not really convenient for us,so.."

"Is it you?" Kenji said rage visible in his voice.

"Answer me the fuck now before I-"

"Kenji!" Ren shouted as kai was about to hold him back , Ren went in front of him first time seeing him so..serious "get your sit together!"

Even Kai looked taken back by it,then Kenji snapped out of it and realized he was wrong shiro wasn't the presence following him...

"Ah,yeah, right" just then as shiro scoffed and simply walked past them hitting Kenji with his shoulder,hard.

His blood boiled again he turned around and-

And nothing Ren turned him back around "okay gentlemen and not so gentlemen I know my friend here is an absolute snack but we have stuff to do, unfixable issues to fix, we'll see you on the rink, don't get too horny thinking about him,see ya!"

Shiro rolled his eyes and continued on his way, Ren dragged Kenji away and what none of them noticed was kai just standing there.. blushing.

"Dude, what the heck??"

"What?"

"Nope, we're not doing that,drop the attitude I've trained you better''

"Shut up before I mush your face"Kenji tryed to Walk past him but Ren dragged him back.

"What the fucks your problem??" Kenji was now beyond annoyed.

"NO what the fuck is YOUR problem, acting like that? You could get cancelled if you attacked!"

"I wasn't going to!"

"You were!,and you better drop this bullshit cause it doesn't work on me YOU have a problem.One you're not telling me about and now's not the time. But if I let you walk out this room right now to fight in such shit emotional state you're gonna loose. All the hard work we put.. I'm not gonna let you do something you're gonna regret later"

Kenji was stand to say the least...

"For the last time..GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER" Ren finished.

Ren was right he had studied shiro he Knew his electric power can charge you negatively and cloud his judgement,and still fell for it,it was cause of this stupid stalker...

"You're right, I let him in like a god damn idiot"

"You said it not me" ren shrugged his normal cocky self back.

"Wait-" Kenji said remembering something..
'....fix,best friend to a dea...'

"I'm.."

"Hmm?"

"I'm..your best friend?"

Ren just blinked at him..."are you..for real?"

"Huh?"

"Of course you are, stupid"

Kenji had never really thought about it but Ren was really..there. it was still foreign to him he never had a friend before..

"Except if...you don't want to be?"
