Kenji and Shiro stood in the arena, the air crackling with anticipation. Kenji, fueled by his unyielding spirit, and Shiro, shrouded in a cloak of intensity, faced each other, their respective quirks ready to be unleashed.

Kenji’s fists glowed with the familiar orange hue of his explosive quirk. With a determined expression, he launched himself toward Shiro, his hands creating a series of controlled explosions that rocked the ground. Shiro countered with precision, summoning electric shields from his hands to deflect the blasts. The stadium shook with each clash, a testament to the raw power of both fighters.

As the battle raged on, Shiro’s frustration became evident. He was relentless, but Kenji's unwavering defense and persistent attacks only fueled his agitation. Shiro's electric strikes became more ferocious, aiming to overwhelm Kenji.

Suddenly, Kenji stopped mid-attack,he felt something from shiro he was fighting like.. everything and nothing was at stake.. “Shiro!” he called out, his voice cutting through the noise. “Why are you fighting like this?”

Shiro, momentarily taken aback, hesitated. “What do you mean?” he shouted back, his eyes flashing with irritation. “I’m fighting to win. Isn’t that what we're here for?”

Kenji shook his head, his breathing heavy.
Kinda irritated and confused, winning?
“it’s not just about winning. It’s about what stand for, what you believe in.Your attacks—your power—how do you use it? For what purpose?”

Shiro’s frustration boiled over. “Purpose? My purpose is to be the best, to be strong. What’s the point if you’re just going to end up hurt or betrayed?”

Kenji’s expression softened, though his eyes were fierce with conviction. “You think strength is all that matters? Strength isn’t just about power or winning. It’s about protecting what you care about. It’s about standing up for others even when it’s hard.Do you even wanna be here? In the fight,in the hero course,in ua. Cause I'm not going to fight someone as emotionless and disrespectful as you,you fucker!”

Shiro’s eyes narrowed as he processed Kenji’s words. “Protecting others? You think that’s all there is to being a hero? Do you know what it’s like to be constantly feeling like you’re not enough? To have people step on you again and again”

Kenji’s response was steady, his voice carrying a heartfelt tone. “I do. I’ve been through my own battles. What? You think you're the center of the world?.But every time I think about giving up, I remember why I started—why I want to be a hero. It’s not just about fighting. It’s about making a difference, about finding hope even in the darkest times. Cause..hope is much more powerful than you think. So I'll ask again,Do you wanna be a hero?”

The words struck Shiro like a jolt of electricity. He faltered, his focus wavering as the weight of Kenji’s words sank in. His powerful electric aura flickered, reflecting his inner turmoil. For a moment, the arena’s noise seemed to fade away, leaving only the echo of Kenji’s conviction.

Shiro lowered his arms, the electric shields dissipating. His eyes met Kenji’s, filled with a mix of uncertainty and newfound understanding. “You…I.. I do.”

Kenji nodded, his expression soft but also fierce “Then come on! Come at me with everything you've got! With your whole heart to it,and win or loose knowing you fought for you! COME AT ME YOU BASTARD! AND MAKE IT COUNT!”

The realization was profound. Shiro took a deep breath, the storm of his emotions settling. With a nod of reluctant respect, signaling his acknowledgment of Kenji’s perspective.

Then he laughed forward with everything he'd got,for the first time...

The referee called the match with shiro the winner, and the crowd erupted into applause, but for Shiro and Kenji, the outcome was secondary. Shiro’s view had shifted, his hardened exterior cracking to reveal a hint of vulnerability. Kenji’s unwavering spirit had sparked a change in Shiro, illuminating a path of understanding and camaraderie.

As the arena cleared, Kenji approached Shiro, extending a hand. “Thanks, Let’s fight again sometime”

Shiro shook Kenji’s hand firmly, a genuine smile breaking through his usual stoic demeanor. “Obviously, I have to restore my honor.”

Their bond, forged in the crucible of conflict and understanding, marked the beginning of a new chapter in their relationship. In the aftermath of the fight, they both emerged changed—Shiro with a renewed sense of purpose, and Kenji with a deepened respect for his new ally.
