A few weeks had passed, but the uneasy feeling that had settled over Kenji refused to leave him. The stalker hadn’t resurfaced since that night, but the tension remained, lurking in the back of his mind. Every shadow felt like it could hide a threat, and even though Felix was now in the picture, it hadn’t brought the relief Kenji hoped for.

Felix and Kenji had grown closer, something Kenji hadn’t expected. Felix, with his cocky grin and casual charm, had a way of making things feel less serious than they were, but that didn’t mean he didn’t understand the gravity of the situation. They had spent late nights discussing their theories, trying to piece together who could be behind the stalking and why.

“So, what now?” Felix asked as they sat in their usual spot after classes, near a secluded corner of the school grounds.

Kenji leaned against the wall, staring out into the distance. “I don’t know. It’s not like I can go to the police without any real proof. And... Shoto? I don’t want to worry him unless I’m sure this is serious.”

Felix shrugged. “Well, it feels pretty serious from where I’m sitting. The guy literally tried to take you out.”

Kenji didn’t respond immediately. He knew Felix was right. Every instinct told him the danger was far from over, but he couldn’t bring himself to drag his father or the authorities into something he didn’t fully understand yet. But...he didn't need to, they were attacked, the heroes could take it from here could they not? Though the thought of finding out more about his past intrigued him..he wanted to know more.

“We should at least tell Shoto,” Felix pressed gently. “Or someone else in the school. If this guy’s been stalking you, he could strike again.”

Kenji sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “I know... I just...”

Felix raised an eyebrow, waiting for Kenji to finish.

“I know nothing about my origin other that deku and dynamight saved me and then shoto adopted me,” Kenji muttered."this could mean something".

Felix’s eyes softened. “I get that. Trust me. But this isn’t something you should take on alone. We’re in this together now.”

Kenji met Felix’s gaze, his mismatched eyes searching for any sign of doubt. But Felix was steady, his confidence unshaken.

“I guess we’ll have to keep thinking about it,” Kenji finally said. “But for now, we just need to be ready for whatever happens next.”

Felix nodded, but before he could respond, Ren came bounding over, his usual energy filling the air. “Hey, Kenji! Felix! What are you guys up to?”

Felix flashed his signature grin. “Nothing much, just talking about the best way to survive another sparring session with Aizawa. You know how brutal those can get.”

Ren chuckled, clearly buying the excuse. “You’re not wrong. I swear the guy takes pleasure in watching us struggle.”

Kenji smirked, grateful for Felix’s quick thinking. Ren had been asking questions all week, sensing that something was off, but so far, they had managed to keep the real story under wraps.

As Ren continued chatting about his latest training blunder, Kenji’s mind drifted. He and Felix were growing closer, and despite his initial reservations, it felt... natural. Felix understood him in a way few people did, and that understanding made the strange situation they were in feel slightly less overwhelming.

Still, the shadow of the stalker loomed over them, and Kenji knew it was only a matter of time before something else happened.

Later that afternoon, Kenji found himself in the locker room, getting ready for sparring class. His side still ached from the injury he’d sustained a week ago, but he had been careful not to let anyone notice. That was easier said than done, though, especially with Felix constantly watching him out of the corner of his eye.

Kenji was in the middle of changing when Felix entered the locker room. Their eyes met, and Kenji quickly glanced away, trying to ignore the tension that always seemed to rise between them in moments like this.

“You’re still hurting, aren’t you?” Felix asked, his voice low enough that no one else could hear.

Kenji shot him a look. “I’m fine.”

Felix didn’t seem convinced. “If you push yourself too hard, you’ll make it worse. That's why it's so slow to heal, it keeps on opening”

Kenji shook his head. “If I sit out, everyone’s going to ask questions. It’s too suspicious.”

Felix crossed his arms, his green eyes narrowing. “You’re stubborn, you know that?”

"You've told me around 100 times"

Kenji clenched his jaw, knowing Felix was right but hating the fact that he was. He couldn’t let anyone see the weakness. Not now.

“I’ll cover it,” Felix said after a moment, his voice softening. “If anyone asks, I’ll make something up. Just… be careful.”

Kenji exhaled slowly. He wasn’t used to someone having his back like this, and it made him uncomfortable in a way he couldn’t explain. But he nodded, grateful even if he wouldn’t admit it out loud.

Sparring class was intense as always, with Aizawa’s sharp eyes watching their every move. Kenji felt the familiar strain on his body, the ache in his side reminding him of Felix’s warning. But he kept going, refusing to show any sign of weakness.

Across the room, Kai was sparring with Shiro, their movements fast and precise. Kenji’s eyes flicked toward them, noting how Kai’s expression was set in determination. There was something different about how they interacted now—less hostility, more... respect. Instead of how he treated him, since the fall out.

Kenji’s thoughts drifted as he dodged a punch from his opponent, but his focus snapped back when he locked eyes with Felix across the room. The cocky grin Felix wore during the fight reminded him that even in the chaos, they were in this together.

After class, as they packed up to leave, Felix brushed by Kenji, whispering just loud enough for him to hear. “We still need to figure this out. I’m not letting this go.”

Kenji nodded, feeling the weight of everything pressing on him again. They still didn’t know who was behind the stalking or why it was happening. And as much as Kenji wanted to handle it himself, he was starting to realize he couldn’t do it alone.

Felix was right. They were in this together.

As they left the school that evening, Kenji’s mind was swirling with thoughts of what to do next. The stalker hadn’t made another move, but Kenji knew it was only a matter of time before they did. He glanced at Felix, who was walking beside him, his usual swagger slightly subdued.

“We should talk to Shoto,” Felix said quietly. “Or at least the police. This isn’t something we can ignore.”

Kenji didn’t respond immediately. He had been avoiding that conversation all week, not wanting to admit that the situation was getting out of hand. But Felix was right, and deep down, Kenji knew it.

“I’ll think about it,” Kenji muttered, his voice barely above a whisper.

Felix nodded, but the look in his eyes said he wasn’t going to let this slide for much longer. Kenji knew they were running out of time—and sooner or later, they would have to face whatever was coming.

He should have to stop acting like a child and see things realistically.
