Aria's Pov:

I got in the car while Ezra slammed the door. He threw his hands on the trunk and stood there for a while with his hands in his hair. I quickly got out and grabbed his hands and held them. I looked into his blue eyes with mine starting to water.

"Let's go." I softly spoke starting to realize what happened.

He was crying but still managed to kiss my forehead and drive. He was way past the speed limit. We were on the highway and I took one of his hands off the stirring wheel and into my hand. I rubbed his hand and held it. I gulped and got ready for the news I was about to hear.

~ 1 hour later ~

I was sitting on a hospital bed because they had to run tests and I had to pee in a cup for the 5th time in the past 3 months.

"Ms. Montgomery." Dr. Felshera said.

"Yes." I said inpatient.

"I'm so sorry to tell you that you, had a miscarriage." She replied softly. I gulped and squeezed Ezra's hand tighter.

"Can you tell us how this happened, I mean its been a while." Ezra asked nicely.

"Well, usually if it does happen its in the first 12 weeks but something happened and we lost a heartbeat." She replied which made me start to dig my fingers in Ezra's Palm holding tears.

"Right, wrong question." Ezra whispered to me in pain knowing he shouldn't have asked.

"Can we go?" I asked.

"Yes, of course. Let me find my phone and we're out!" He said sounding excised to get out of this room late at night.

Ezra's Pov:

We were on the highway and Aria was looking out the window with her hands playing with each other in her lap. No music, just silence. I don't think she realizes that I can see reflections in the window. She was holding tears until one fell down her left cheek. I reached over and grabbed her hand while the other one drives. Nothing was said. I held her hand until we parked in the parking garage.

When I parked the car I stopped and stared at the windshield for a good minute still holding Aria's hand. I unbuckled and looked over at Aria who wasn't moving, just crying. I walked over to the other side and unbuckled Aria's seatbelt and carried her upstairs to my apartment. She had basically lived here. I sat her down on the couch and warmed up some tea. When the tea was done I brought it over and sat down. Aria climbed in my lap and rested her head on my shoulder. Still tears coming down but I don't blame her for crying for the next few days. She lost her child.

I lost my child.
