"This is what you guys picked up?"

"Yep. Still Bonnie enough, dontcha think?"

Bonita had a black tank top with a white smiley face graphic on it, black ripped skinny jeans, and high tops. Instead of the usual lace or fishnet gloves they wore, they had black and white striped fingerless gloves, leaving their claws out.

They had figured out how to retract them so they weren't constantly a danger to theirself and the others when they reached for something.

"Definitely a new look." Tyler commented. "Never thought I'd see Bonnie wear anything other than platforms or heels."

"I never thought I'd see them wear jeans."

"Well now you have." she said as she pulled on the gloves. "I hate high tops and jeans usually but at least they'll be less hazardous to run in."

"Why a smiley face?"

"Aiden picked it out."

He grinned as they noticed the smiley face on her shirt was the same as on his.

"Ha... another day of Bonnie and Aiden making me wanna cry."

"Taylor..."

"Okay... Aiden, when will the lights get here?"

"I dunno... Thursday probably."

"Probably??"

"Well, yeah, they're coming from Japan."

They all looked at Aiden who just shrugged as if he didn't tell them he ordered solar panels from the other side of the world. Bonita took his phone and unlocked it.

"Saturday. Ashlyn, do your parents have anywhere to be?"

"No... I'll just distract them and you guys can carry them in."

"Or Bonnie could distract them. They were pretty interested in her father."

"Ohh, yeah, my daddy's like famous in the military apparently."

"So you bait them into asking about him then take them inside while we sneak the lights around back."

"Easy."

"Good. Now, Bonnie, do you have any more weapons in your house?"

"Ehh probably? Daddy sends me at least one along with a shit ton of jewelry for my birthday every year."

"When you come for training, bring them."

"Alright, you'll have to come up with an excuse for why I have them though."

"Alright, now we also have to figure out how and when to get the jeep in."

"Well we need to be able to hold off the phantoms long enough for Bonnie and I to get my parents' keys."

"Me?"

"You said you can drive??"

"Oh yeah. Yeah, I probably shouldn't break into and hotwire your car huh?"

"Yeah... you shouldn't."

"Why do you know how to...?"

"My mom taught me when I was... six, I think."

"What is with your family?"

"I don't know what you mean."

"You–"

"Don't. We need to get through at least one night without you two fighting."

"Logan, time?"

"Two hours."
