Bonita laid on the floor of her room quite literally watching paint dry when Andromeda walked in. Her face dropped into something akin to confusion when she saw the wall.

"What is that?"

"My room has constellations all around it. My daddy's a capricorn so I painted his constellation first, next will be my mom's, then who fuckin knows."

"And your clothes?"

"You leant me scissors as long as someone was watching me." they shrugged. "If you got a problem then that sucks."

"No problem, just interest."

"Hm. Drommie I'm bored as fuck, can I do something new?"

"Like what?"

"Like... ooh, could I see the zombies?" she grinned, her eyes practically sparkling as she sat up and turned to the woman. "That would beat waiting for my room to finish drying!"

"...fine. One of your friends has already seen them so I guess it won't be too bad."

"Woo! You're the best Drommie! I love you~"

"I'm sure."

"Ugh, y'know usually when most people say I love you they get an I love you too in return."

"You only say that because you've been in four relationships."

Bonita shrugged. "Fair."

Andromeda cuffed them and led them down the halls toward a room seemingly as far as possible from the other patients.

She had already been out of her room a few times, had seen the comatose ward, and was familiar with the faces of the staff. At least what she could see with the masks on their faces. Apparently there was only one other doctor and he was watching over their friends while Andromeda was specifically told to watch after her.

"So, Drommie, what do they look like?"

"Um... disturbing." She opened the door and revealed a room full of people all trapped in glass tubes. "They can't hurt you but it would do well for you to stick by– Bonnie!"

Bonita stood in front of one of the tubes, tilting her head at the human-zombie-phantom thing.

"Laden Matthews right?" The boy stared down at her, an unnerving grin plastered on his face and his gray eyes now black.

"Yes. How did you know?"

"He's one of my three weird ass exes." she waved at him. "Hi Laden."

He reached a hand out to her despite the glass between them. It was hard to tell whether he was reaching out for help or was trying to kill her.

Then he scratched the glass and the intention was clear.

Okay yeah he's trying to kill me. Oddly enough, normal for him.

"Okay we need to go back now." Andromeda grabbed their arm, pulling them away from the tube.

"What, already?" they whined.

"It's unsafe in there for you to know someone who's been taken over; it will make them fiercer, more likely to try to escape to get to something familiar."

"I know what that's like... can I have my walkie talkie back? I wanna talk to querido."

"Once you get back to your room you can talk to him as long as you'd like."

"Nice! ...Drommie?"

"Yes?"

"I need your opinion on something."
