Night fell on Merlin Academy, the castle shining with the beautiful colored lights that adorned the castle, as well as the fireworks.

Castlecoming was starting, princesses, princes, fairies and witches were excitedly getting ready to attend the long-awaited event.
But this was not the case for a certain group of princesses and VK's, who were getting ready with a different goal, to save the captain of the Jolly Roger from falling into the tentacles of the sea witches.

Ella, Red, Chloe and Maleficent stayed in Bridget's room to get ready for Castlecoming, while Hades and Morgie waited outside the room.

The princess of hearts let Cinderella's daughter fix her hair, a tall headdress of curls and small pearls adorned Bridget's hairstyle, as well as a few strands that fell to the sides.
— You look beautiful. — Ella commented to her friend who couldn't stop looking at herself in the mirror of her dressing table.
— You too Ella. You look gorgeous. — Bridget added as she looked at her best friend with a smile.

Fay had delivered the Princess of Hearts two dresses that night.
One was strapless and pale pink, the corset had details like fairy wings in different shades of pink. Its tulle skirt cascaded down, it had small crystals of the same shade that sparkled when the skirt moved, its cut was simple but very beautiful.

The second dress on the other hand was a beautiful sky blue, the skirt was a little bigger and had a slight touch at the shoulders. Sparkling crystals adorned it. This dress was for the Princess of Hearts' best friend, who initially refused to wear such a dress, as she didn't want to draw attention, but Bridget insisted.
Ella looked like the princess she was meant to become one day.

— I have one more surprise for you. — Bridget commented excitedly.
The Princess of Hearts took a blue velvet box out of her dresser drawer, when she opened it, Ella was speechless.
A beautiful crystal tiara was inside.
— Bridget, I-I can't wear this. It's too much. — Ella replied.
— Nonsense, it's never too much when it comes to a dance. — she said as she placed the tiara on her friends blue hair.

Red and Chloe had not considered wearing dresses that night, and even though Bridget offered to pay for some for Fay to design them last minute, they refused.
Maleficent on the other hand just snapped her fingers, a cloud of purple smoke completely enveloped her and when it began to fade, the sorceress was wearing a dark purple mermaid-cut dress, she looked intimidating but also very beautiful.

The sound of the door caught the girls' attention.
— Can we come in? — Hades shouted from outside.
— Yes, come in! — Maleficent answered.
When the god and Morgie entered the room, Hades was speechless when he saw his girlfriend.
— If this is a dream, don't let anyone wake me up. You look stunning. — the god of death commented as he took Maleficent's hand and left a kiss on it.
