Siya's POV

The buzz of excitement around the engagement preparations was almost palpable. From the moment our families decided on the date, things had been a whirlwind of activity. I had expected a lot of planning but seeing it all come together was something else entirely.

One Saturday afternoon, I was at the Suryavanshi mansion, surrounded by an array of wedding brochures and fabric swatches. Aditi, who was as excited as I was, joined me in the chaos.

"Siya, look at this fabric! It's gorgeous!" Aditi exclaimed, holding up a rich maroon silk. "This would be perfect for the engagement lehenga."

I took the fabric from her and felt the texture between my fingers. "It's beautiful. But don't you think it might be a bit too heavy for a summer engagement?"

Aditi thought for a moment, then grinned. "Good point. Maybe something lighter, like chiffon or georgette. But definitely in a vibrant color."

As we debated fabric choices, Abhimanyu called. "Hey Siya, I was thinking we should meet up and discuss the pre-wedding events. There's a lot to plan, and I want to make sure we're on the same page."

I glanced at Aditi, who gave me a thumbs-up. "Sounds great, Abhimanyu. How about we meet at the café near my place? It's quiet and cozy."

"Perfect. I'll see you in an hour," he said.

An hour later, I met Abhimanyu at the café. He looked slightly more relaxed than usual, and I could tell he was trying to enjoy the process.

"Hey," I greeted him, sliding into the seat across from him. "How's your day been?"

"Pretty busy," he replied, sipping his coffee. "There's so much to coordinate. I'm glad we're working on this together."

I smiled. "Me too. It feels like we're building something really special."

We talked about the engagement ceremony and the pre-wedding events. Abhimanyu had a clear vision, but he was also open to suggestions, which I appreciated.

"Okay, so for the engagement, I was thinking of having a traditional Rajput theme. Maybe something with royal elements?" he suggested.

"That sounds amazing," I said, my eyes lighting up. "We could go for a royal feast, traditional music, and even a dance performance. It would be like a modern twist on a royal celebration."

Abhimanyu nodded, looking more relaxed. "I love it. And for the pre-wedding celebrations, we could have a series of events—mehndi, sangeet, and a pre-wedding party. What do you think?"

I grinned. "Absolutely! And for the mehndi, we could have a skilled mehndi artist. I've seen some incredible designs."

As we brainstormed ideas, the café's atmosphere seemed to become our little planning haven. I could see how much effort Abhimanyu was putting into making everything perfect, and it made me appreciate him even more.

Abhimanyu's POV

The engagement preparations were in full swing, and despite my usual tendency to keep things orderly and efficient, I was starting to enjoy the process. Meeting Siya at the café was a welcome break from the chaos of planning.

When Siya arrived, her enthusiasm was infectious. It was clear that she was deeply invested in making our engagement and wedding memorable. Her energy made the whole planning process feel a lot more enjoyable.

"So, we're thinking about a royal-themed engagement," I said, trying to match her excitement. "Something that pays homage to our Rajput heritage but with a modern touch."

"I love it!" Siya said, her eyes sparkling. "We could incorporate traditional elements with a contemporary twist. It's going to be stunning."

As we discussed the details, I found myself relaxing more and more. Siya's warmth and creativity were helping me see the fun side of things. I could sense her overthinking moments, but it was balanced by her genuine excitement and passion for the celebration.

"So, for the pre-wedding events," I continued, "we could start with Mehndi, then sangeet, and maybe a fun pre-wedding party. What do you think?"

Siya's face lit up. "Yes! And for the Mehndi, we could have an artist who specializes in intricate designs. I've seen some incredible ones that I'm sure you'd love."

I nodded, impressed by her enthusiasm. "Sounds perfect. I'm looking forward to seeing how everything comes together."

We continued to plan, discussing everything from guest lists to decorations. As we worked through the details, I could see how much effort Siya was putting into making sure everything was perfect. It was a refreshing change from my usual focus on the practical aspects.

By the time we finished our meeting, we had a solid plan in place. Siya and I felt more confident about the upcoming events, and the process of planning had brought us even closer together.

As we left the café, I turned to Siya. "Thanks for today. I'm really glad we're working on this together. It's making everything feel more real and exciting."

Siya smiled, a mix of relief and happiness in her eyes. "I feel the same way. It's great to be able to share this experience with you."

As we parted ways, I felt a sense of contentment. The engagement preparations were in full swing, and despite my usual reservations, I was starting to see the joy in the process. With Siya by my side, I knew that we were not just planning a wedding but building a future together.

Siya's POV

The days following our café meeting were filled with even more planning and preparations. The engagement and pre-wedding events were coming together beautifully, and the anticipation was growing.

One evening, I was at home, organizing the guest list for the engagement party when Aditi walked in, carrying a box of wedding invitations.

"Siya, look at these!" she said, her eyes gleaming. "They've just arrived from the printer."

I opened the box, revealing the elegant invitations. "They're perfect! I love the design. It's exactly what I had in mind."

Aditi beamed. "I'm so excited for everything. It's going to be such a grand celebration."

I nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. "I hope it all goes smoothly. There's still so much to do, and I want everything to be perfect."

As we chatted about the final details, I couldn't help but reflect on how much had changed since Abhimanyu and I first started getting to know each other. The journey had been filled with its ups and downs, but it was leading us towards something wonderful.

The engagement ceremony and pre-wedding events were just around the corner, and I felt a sense of anticipation and joy. With Abhimanyu by my side and our families' support, I knew that the celebrations would be nothing short of spectacular.
