~• Clance Kurt •~
He was nervous, his mind going over millions of outcomes, none of them able to calm his nerves. It had been a week since their visit to his mother's, and be was certain that the topic was forgotten, but he couldn't be sure. Clance paced in front of the counter in the kitchen, Loaine still sound asleep in bed. Her stomach had grown again, the once baby bump now a lot more visible. He couldn't help but smile at the thought, this calming his nerves slightly, and he wanted nothing more than to just kiss her every time he saw her. A groan came from their room and Clance snapped his head over in the direction, certain it was Loaine waking up.
"Clance?" Her voice was like music to his ears and he was sure if they just sat there and he let her talk, he wouldn't mind it one bit.
"I'm in the kitchen, Lo." He heard her get up, going to the bathroom as she did every morning, to freshen up and change. His nerves returned as he tried to calm down, his possible outcomes replaying in his head. He decided to keep his mind busy, getting to work on making a healthy breakfast for Loaine and himself. He was getting the plates together when arms wrapped themselves around his waist. He jumped and Loaine leaned to the side to look up at him.
"Someone's jumpy this morning." Clance chuckled before turning around, her arms still around his waist, before he did the same and wrapped his arms around her waist. He kissed her forehead, brushing her bangs away from her face, and smiled down at her.
"Just lost in thought, that's all." Loaine smiled up at him before leaning forward to press her lips to his lightly. She released him, walking over to the kitchen counter, and sat on a stool, Clance picking up a plate and setting it in front of her. "Eat up, you're feeding two now." Loaine laughed before digging in and Clance brought his stuff over to sit next to her.
They sat in a peaceful silence, their thoughts running through their heads as they enjoyed their time together. Loaine finished first, moving to get up and take her plate to the sink, when Clance held a hand out quickly.
"Here, let me take it for you." Loaine raised an eyebrow in question but handed the plate to Clance. He smiled at her and she returned it before going to sit on the couch.
"So, what are we doing today?" Clance looked over at her, a mischevious glint in his eyes.
"Going on an adventure." She glanced over at him from the TV, noticed his look and turned to stare at him.
"You're being serious?" He chuckled before getting up to wash the dishes.
"Of course I'm being serious." Loaine looked slightly surprised, her eyebrows hiding in her bangs.
"Well then, I guess I better be ready." Clance laughed, finishing up before he walked over to her.
"You're already perfect." She smiled up at him before turning to turn of the TV. She stood up and walked over to stand in front of him, an excited smile on her face.
"Okay! Then let's go!" Clance held up a finger with a smile.
"Hold on, I have to get ready first." She looked him over wit a nod before she allowed him to walk over to the room. He felt his nerves come back, Loaine only slightly calming his nerves down, and changed quickly, grabbing the small box from his secret closet and shoving it into his coat pocket. He grabbed a sweater for Loaine and headed back into the kitchen.
"Took you long enough," Loaine joked, reaching out for her jacket excidedly. Clance pulled it away as she reached for it, Loaine stumbling and falling into his arm. She looked up at him and he smirked at her, leaning down to kiss her lips. She moaned softly, leaning into him, and wrapped her arms around his waist, her sweater long forgotten. Clance pulled away to give her air, and sure enough, Loaine was panting, her chest rising and falling softly.
