~• Loaine Lorain •~
She was in the middle of a meadow, white and yellow wild flowers tickling her bare feet. She looked around in confusion, the area wide and isolated. A blue sky was above her, the sun shining out for a perfect day, as white fluffy clouds slowly dragged by. A giggle erupted, echoing, although there was nothing to bounce the noise across. Loaine turned around to see a little boy running up to her.
"Mommy!" She stared at the child in horror, her arms flying out in front of her as protection, the child growing closer. He jumped, his little body colliding with her's, and they both fell to the soft grass, the impact hurting neither of them. Loaine stared at the child, horror and curiosity on her face, before a voice spoke.
"Chrim, get off of your mother!" It was amused, chuckling, as if this was the funniest thing in the world. Loaine looked around the boy in her arms to see a tall figure, its face shadowed. It had the body of a tall man, his face the only part hidden. The child, Chrim, jumped off of Loaine and ran up to the man, hugging his legs.
"Sorry Daddy." Loaine felt her body tense up, like a bucket of ice water was dumped on her, a chill stopping her frozen. No, this was the man, the father of the alien child she was so prophesized to have. The child looked normal, human, not like an alien like his supposed father was suppose to be. Loaine wasn't sure what she was trying to make herself see. The only thing she wanted to know, was who the father was.
