~• Loaine Lorain •~

"Sylistico."

His blue eyes searched her, a pained expression overtaking his features as he looked over her injuries. She smiled lovingly at him, a relief filling her system, and she felt her chest tighten in happiness.

"I knew you'd come." His eyes captured her's and he smiled weakly at her. She frowned at that but he didn't say anything as he reached out and ripped one cuff from around her wrist before doing the same to the other. Loaine rubbed her sore wrists before hugging Sylistico tightly. He tensed up but relaxed as soon as his arms went around her. She sighed before looking up at him, one of his hands moving to cup her cheek.

"Are you alright?" Loaine nodded, turning her face to kiss his palm before he pulled her face back to him, leaning over to press his lips to her's. She melted into him, kissing him back eagerly, and frowned when he pulled away a short moment later. "We need to go, Loaine, now." She nodded and he scooped her up in his arms before flying out of the hole he made in the wall.

She snuggled into him, her arms wrapped tightly around his neck, and enjoyed the safety she now had. Although, she couldn't get rid of the nagging feeling in the back of her mind, telling her something wasn't right, with Sylistico, with the situation. And she felt certain of that feeling as Sylistico set her onto the roof of the apartment, his figure turning to fly off.

"Are you kidding me?!" He turned to look at her in confusion, her outburst sudden. She glared at him, her arms coming up to cross in front of her chest. "You're leaving your wife and unborn child here? Alone? On a rooftop? That's pathetic!" He squinted his eyes at her, not liking her tone, and choice of words, before stalking over to her. Loaine looked up at him, not backing down, as he got close to her face.

"Yes, Loaine, because I need to save you from the psychopath that is trying to kill the both of you! And no I didn't leave you alone. God, Loaine! You choose the worse moments to act like this! You're going to die if I don't do something about Elictros, do you understand that? You're going to kill not only yourself but our son! Our unborn son, Lo, and I-I would rather have him kill me if that happened, then live another day without you both." Loaine felt her face blank and her arms fall to her sides as Sylistico turned away from her, his body tense. His hands moved up to grip his blonde hair in frustration.

"Clance-" he held a hand up and turned to her.

"No Loaine, I'm not having this disscusion, ever. I just...I love you too much, you and Chrim." His vulnerable side was peeking out and Loaine felt like puddy, an evil bowl of it for making him this way. His hand reached out to touch her stomach, the other moving to the side of her face, and he looked up at her sadly. "I wanted this for so long," he chuckled dryly," and I was too chicken to go up to you and make that move. I've loved you for longer than you can know, Loaine, and I don't want to do anything to jepordize that." Loaine felt her eyes water, her hands shooting up to grip his face, and pulled him to her.

Her lips connected with his, a burning passion fueling both of their wants and needs, and Sylistico brought her closer, his hands holding the small of her back. She wrapped her arms around his neck, tugging slightly at the strands of hair within her grasp, and he groaned as he tried to pull her closer. He nibbled on her bottom lip and Loaine gasped, his lips smirking against her's. He pulled away shortly after, looking deeply into her eyes as she tried to replace her lost air.

"Clance, Sylistico, whatever, I don't want you to do this. Why can't we just leave all of this behind, forget about it? We can raise Chrim somewhere safe, away from this." Loaine held onto him, pleading, and he sighed as he rested his forehead against her's.
