"I need to get back to Malibu," I tell Allan who I'm face timing.

Mal and I were half way done with "Total Drama: World Tour," but we ran into some issues. My eyes felt like they were going to fall out of the socket! I mean, staying up all night to watch an entire season, especially of that show, is exhausting. I don't know if it's because all of that radiation from the television was getting to my brain, or if it's because I'm forced to watch those awful people screw over my best friend. Whatever it was, it almost blinded me. I was also craving a warm multi grain bagel with whipped cream cheese. After I convinced Malibu to take a break and try to get some sleep, because these last few episodes have not been fun for her, I decided to run some errands- get my bagel of course, and take some calls while I'm here at the coffee shop.

"You two still binge watching 'Total Drama?' " Allan asks me.

"Yeah, we're half way done. Thank, g0d," I tell him as I roll my eyes.

"Yeah, I tried watching the first episode, it was a real dumpster fire. I couldn't take all the singing singing," he admits.

"I heard it's because Chris was trying to break into broadway," I reply. "So, it's been pretty quiet lately, Malibu is worried. I need to reassure her that everything is ok."

And I guess I am a little bit nervous myself. I mean, "Total Drama" was a huge hit when the first season aired. I was on the phone with those producers every time Mal even breathed. Now, it's suddenly radio silent from the producers, the paparazzi hasn't swormed us like they usually do, and I haven't received nearly as many emails from "Celebrity Manhunt" as I usually do. I don't know, it kinda just makes me feel like this may be the calm before the storm...

"I received a letter in the mail from their legal team recently."

Whoa, what? Why didn't he mention this earlier?

"Allan!" I exclaim as I choke on my drink. "Why didn't you tell me?"

I knew they were too quiet. What could they possibly want now? We won the lawsuit! Malibu hasn't said anything to the media about that show, even though she could have!- ugh, they better not be asking her to do another season. Malibu would burst into flames if she were to ever be approached by them.

"Because I'm handling it. You're too tense, have I ever let you down before?" He asks with a cocky smile.

I guess he's right. He did get me a fat check out of that settlement, and Malibu's grandmother would be rotting in a prison cell if it weren't for Allan.

"Are you sure?" I ask for reassurance.

"Of course I am. It's no big deal, trust me."

...

After my call with Allan, I continue to finish my brunch while catching up on some YouTube videos on my phone- yes, I am an iPad kid. If I'm being honest, it is a bit nervewracking that the "Total Drama" jerks are contacting Allan. During season one, they'd always contact me regarding Malibu, and I'd three way Allan. I don't know what they could possibly be doing, but maybe it's better they go through him. Whatever they're doing, I know that he'll cut it off cold turkey... Hopefully.

As I continue on my phone, I frown as a million notifications begin to flood the top of my screen. Gmail, Instagram, TMZ, so many text messages!- what is going on?! My face flushes when I see a text from Malibu.
