Epilogue

Two years later

Cherise

     I hear Jax running down the hall.  I laugh at him squealing running from his daddy.  Jax comes into my room squealing "Daddy get me, mommy!"  I pick up Jax and run with him as Jace comes after us.  He picks me up and throws me on the bed.  Jax just laughs and then I tell him to help me tickle daddy.  We pin him to the bed and begin a tickle fest.  I look at my little boy and I am thrilled at how well he is doing.  We went for our last check up last month and he will no longer be on medicines for his heart.  He has a clean bill of health.  I nearly cried my eyes out when the doctor told us.  We decided to wait on more kids until we knew Jax was in the clear.  As soon as we found out last month we started trying again.  I have loved being a mommy and hope to have a couple of more kids to fill our home. 

Six months later

Jace

     I am at the clubhouse with Jax in tow.  Cherise found out three months ago that she was pregnant again.  She has been struggling with morning sickness really bad.  So I try and take Jax with me to help her out.  I have to go pick her up in a bit to go to her check up today.  We are hoping to find out what we are having soon.  We didn't do it with Jax but decided to find out this time.  I am really hoping for a little girl though that looks just like her momma.  It would be the cutest little girl ever.  We have been discussing names lately and Jax has been adjusting to the new addition coming.  We talk to him often about what it means and how he will have a little brother or sister soon.  I really hope little man doesn't get jealous.

     We are at the clinic getting the sonogram done.  I have Jax in my lap so he can see the baby on the screen.  I hear the tech tell us "I will be right back."  Shit what now!   The doctor comes in next and looks at the screen.  I asked "Doc what's wrong?"  Cherise is starting to panic.  The doctor looks at us and ask "Do you guys plan on having a big family?"  We both look back at her confused.  Cherise ask "Why?"  I laugh and say don't tell me it's twins.  The doctor looks at me real serious and says "Nope just triplets."  I think the lights in the room went out. 

Cherise

     It's been two months since my last sonogram when we found out we were having triplets and Jace fainted.  Today we are here to find out if they can see what we are having.  I am huge like whale size huge.  I don't know how I am going to make it to full term.  They call us to the back and start the sonogram.  I am anxious to hear what we are having.  I mean coming up with one name was simple but we have been going around or two to come up with three names.  I hear the tech say "Okay baby A is a boy, and let's see baby B is not wanting to play nice today.  There we go baby B is a boy. "  Okay so I am going to be living in a house full of boys.  I am use to that.  The tech continues "Baby C is a girl!"  I hear Jace yell "Hot damn!"  I laugh at him.  Then I look over at my boys and tell Jax he is going to have two brothers and one sister.  Oh my I never thought I would ever have this dream.  I start crying.  Jax asks "Mommy got a boo boo?"  Jace knows what I am thinking so he answers him "No son mommy is just really happy right now." 

Three months later

Jace

     Cherise has been on bed rest for a couple weeks now.  I have tried to take care of the house and of course Jax.  I have been getting the babies' room ready.  The boys came over and helped me paint it.  Veronica has been over cleaning for us and Penny has been coming by cooking for us.  Ruby comes over some but she has a house full of kids to take care of herself.  I walk into the room to take Cherise a sandwich and coke.  I see she is up and getting dressed.  I pop off "What the hell Cherise!"  She looks at me and says as calmly as she can "Shut the fuck up Jace you did this to me!  The babies are coming so I need to put on some damn clothes or would you prefer me to walk out naked!"  What did she just say the babies are coming.  I call Veronica over to take care of Jax.  I call Cherise's doctor to let her know we are headed to the hospital.  I pick up Cherise to carry her out to the vehicle with her complaining the whole time that I will break my back.  Is she big?  Yes she is but she got three little humans in her. 

     We have been at the hospital for about an hour.  So far Cherise's blood pressure has been fine compared to last time.  She want's to try and do a vaginal delivery but doc wants to do a C-section again.  When we got to the hospital they said she was dilated to a four whatever that means.  Every time I try and say something Cherise cusses me out so I am trying to just stay quiet for my little devil.  The doctor has made Cherise see that the surgery is safer for the babies since there are three of them.  They take us to the surgery room.  I am sitting up by Cherise's head and excited to be able to see the moment our babies come out.  The doctor starts and soon I hear her say here is baby A and they hold our son over the drape for us to see him.  He is screaming his lungs out which is music to our ears.  I kiss Cherise forehead and wait for the next one.   A minute or two later she announces that baby B is here and we watch him as he is lifted into view.  Next will be our little princess.  Finally the doc says and here is baby C.  She so beautiful.  Wait a minute!  I ask "Doc why does my little girl have a penis?"  The doctor laughs out loud and says well Jace your little girl turned out to be your little boy.  What!  Cherise is crying now.  I know she was excited to have a girl.  I kiss her and tell her we can try again for a girl.  She looks at me as if I have two heads now.  I ask "Are you not crying because you are sad that we don't have a girl?"  She answers "No Jace I am crying because I have three healthy babies to add to our family." 

Cherise

     I lay here breastfeeding my sons.  I am so happy.  Did I want a girl? A little bit.  However I am just so happy they are all healthy.  They are small but doing great.  We have been in our room now for couple hours and waiting on Veronica to bring Jax to meet his brothers.   I ask Jace "Did you tell them that there is only boys?"  Jace shakes his head no as he  stares down at our boys.  I hear the door open and see Veronica poke her head in.  She comes in and tells me the others are waiting outside but she wanted to check to see if I was up for company.  I get the boys off my breasts and cover up.  She opens the door and Blade comes in with Jax first.  I say "Jax baby would you like to meet your brothers?"  Jax shakes his head yes.  Blade brings him over and Jace gets him.  Jax looks at all three babies and ask "Why da so red mommy?"  We laugh and I explain it's because they are so new.  Then after he spends a few minutes seeing them Blade goes out to get the rest of them.  

     I see Prez, Ruby, Tank, Brick and Penny all come in.  They are all making cute little noises at the babies.  Then Tank ask which ones the girl and I look to Jace.  We both burst out laughing.  Everyone is looking at us like we have lost our minds.  I am finally able to tell them " I would like to introduce you to Paxton Ryker, Daxton Ryder, and Saxton Ryden."  Everyone looks confused and Brick says "so which one is the girl?"  I am laughing so hard now tears are rolling down my face.  Jace finally says "Well they all three have penises so I guess none of them." Jax takes that opportunity to say "Yah, no siwwy girls!"  The whole room fills with laughter.
