I have to get out of here. I ignored him.
"How do you know Xavier?"
Looking into his eyes he seems to be a pirate.
"I'm Felix by the way." He reminded me of someone. His black hair and blue eyes.  "I'm also wondering how Xavier got involved with pirates." his hand on his cheek.  "That's a long story."

Xavier throws a sack of coins onto the deck floor.
Felix picks it up. "Throw her overboard. Make sure she hits the bottom of the sea and no one finds her."
Xavier tries to walk away but I stop him before he can.
"Why are you doing this to me?!"

I ask him. "Because you know something you're not supposed to know,"  he said while pirates were putting chains on my legs
"The poison?"

"The fact that I'm going to kill my whole bloodline to be king. Including you."
"What? Do you have to kill her??"  Felix spoke up.
"You know what they say, dead men tell no tales. Besides, I'm paying you to do this, remember?"

I take a few steps back and hit a treasure chest.
I pick it up and dump it in the water. They grabbed me, picked me up, and put me into the water. A few coins hit my head. I try to swim to the top but it only makes my muscles sore. My hand fought against the water till I exhaled and gave up.

The chains hit the bottom.
It's so dark that there is not even a hint of light, even if the sun just rose. I closed my eyes and wanted this all to be a dream.

One of my worst memories. I sat at the lake and I looked into my reflection. I heard loud, fast footsteps.
A boy ran up to the lake. His blonde hair flowed through the wind.
The fire reflected into his eyes, he didn't notice me but I saw him.

He held a torch. I hid even though I had no reason to hide. The raging flames consumed the place. I tried to get away but a burning tree fell in front of me. I Couldn't do anything but yell and hope that someone would save me from the blazing fire.

To this day I still wonder who that was and if I could have done anything to stop the boy that set the woods to flames, I was 9 years old.

I gasped for air and stumbled out of the net. A fisherman pulled me out of the water and into the boat. The world seemed to spin around me. I coughed up water. The feeling of acid didn't pass any moment soon. It took me a minute or two to gather my composure, but conflicting thoughts still plagued my mind.

It had seemed like the pain had been there forever and in a way, I was getting used to it.
I was left with thousands of unanswered questions yet again.
I can't exactly describe how I feel but it's not right and It leaves me cold.

The guy on the boat shouted in a language I am glad my tutors taught me how to speak the language spoken day-to-day in Zodel.
"Get a towel and a first aid kit!"
I hear the captain yell. Blood drops down from my forehead although I don't even feel it.

My hair was soaked, my dad's life was in danger. Everyone is running around. I dried my hair off with the towel.
"Turn around, pull up to the pier." The Captain ties the rope on the dock. I stepped off of the metal rusty boat and the captain assisted me. He tilted his hat and yelled at his fisherman. Not that I could comprehend the words he was saying.

I was slightly worried that my foot would get stuck in between wood on the dock.
I step off the wood and sand sinks into my high heel.
Marching out of the sand I see a market, people battling to save some money on food I felt some eyes on me as I pushed through the crowd.

Someone bumps into me and I trip into a Tarven. I fell onto the floor and I was greeted with unwelcoming stares. The only thing I am welcomed by is a layer of smoke hanging below the ceiling and aromas of what's probably food, hopefully.
The bartender is pouring a drink for a customer and makes no effort to acknowledge my presence.
He looks like someone I know.

It's as gloomy inside as it is on the outside. The walls are loaded with pictures, though the dust and cobwebs stop you from taking a closer look.
The tavern itself is almost entirely abandoned.
Shockingly, there are more cats than humans. The few people inside could be anybody really, but whoever they are, I would like to stay as distant as possible.

However, I am hungry.
I stand up and walk to a tall chair. " can I help you?"
I shake my head no. "Killian, I don't think you can help me." "And how do you know that?"
"Can you give me a free meal? I don't have money."

I said thinking he wasn't going to give it to me.
He puts his rag on his shoulder.
I see a decent meal on my plate.
"What is this?"
"Leftover sweets, whatever other people don't eat that they paid for, we throw away. Sometimes we cook too much food so we give it for free to other people. "
I bobbed my head digging into the food.

"Need anything else?" I wiped my face.
"I need a place to stay."
He wipes the crumbs off the counter. "What about the prince?" I pick at my food a bit. "You mean dorian? No, I can't stay there for many reasons and I can't stay with his sister as well." I laughed thinking the whole thing just felt stupid.

"You can stay with me," "Really?"
He is quiet. "When I am done for the day, I'll take you there," I am almost sure he finds it funny how a princess doesn't even have money to spend on a good meal. As the hours passed, I scanned the different customers coming in and out.
"It's time for me to close up but I have to clean the tables" I look at the clock and it just hit six pm.
I stepped down from the chair and my legs felt numb, he walked me to the buggy. It was completely black unlike my carriage, my feet stepped into it and he sat next to me.
