I sit on the floral couch looking at the box my mother gave me.
" Hey! " I jerked up from the sound of his voice. Killian plopped down next to me. "Where were you yesterday?" I hid the box behind my back. Not that I have anything to hide. It's just one of the topics I don't feel like discussing. "I went to see my cousin."
"Oh, I didn't know you had a cousin that lives here."
"We aren't close, he didn't even know I was his cousin until I visited him." he nods even Though he does
Understand.
I hear a knock on the door and I stand up to get the door. "Wait, let me get the door," Killian said and walked to the door leaving me with my music box.
What a goofy broken music box.
I walked closer to the door after hearing a slightly familiar voice.

"Is Eythora here?" the door screeches. "No." I heard the door slam making me jump up from where I was standing. I walked up to him, "Was anyone there?"
He looks almost angry. "No, no one was there."
He said, taking my hand and pulling me back to the room. "Are you sure? I could have sworn I heard someone." I walk back towards the door. "Yes, it was just the mailman." my hand grips the door handle.
"No, please sit down." I open the door and I see Ryker holding my picnic basket and some roses with an Awkward smile.
"Ryker! Who are these lovely flowers for?" I asked taking the basket out of his hands. "They are for you, they are from Nana and me." I smiled brightly and let him in. "Um, I am going to go find a vase for this. Killian, can you show my cousin the drawing room?" He nodded. I made my way to the kitchen to find a vase. I look in the cabinets and find one. I turned on the faucet and put the vase underneath the water.
Then I heard some giggles coming from a table behind me.

"I heard that the son of the Grand Duke has a lover."
One of the ladies gasped. "No way, all he has done is his work. He is either training or helping the Grand duke. Why would you spread such a rumor?"
"It's not a rumor, I saw her myself. She is staying here right under Lady Cora's nose." is that what they are making me out to be? Some mistress? I don't even know who Lady Cora is. My hand slammed the vase on the table but not hard enough for water to spill. They flinch at the sound. I put the flowers in the vase. "It was looking kinda dull in here. Well, thankfully me and these flowers are here to make things better." they look at me, startled. "If you plan on going against Cora then be ready for anything." the head maid spoke out.
"I don't know who Cora is, but if she gets in my way she will regret it." they look even more scared now, not of me but for me. For the first time, people were not scared of me. My smile grew and my eyes gleamed.
They didn't see me as a psycho princess, who could kill you at any moment. They underestimated me and they will surely regret it.

After walking out of the kitchen I pull the poster out of my pocket. The knightly tournament is today. A title and some gold for those who win. I hum thoughtfully and walk to the front door. I take my hood down and put it on. Killian jumps up from his seat and walks up to me. "Hey! Where are you going?" I grab the doorknob. "I got to go." I open the door only to have him slam the door. "Not until you tell me where you are going." I look at him, furious. His face inches away from mine. "Look, what I do is none of your business.
I will be fine, I am going into town. I'll be back by sunset."
He moves his hand away slowly. "No drinking."
What I am doing will probably worry him more than drinking.
"I won't." he hands me a bag of coins. "Take this."
I nodded. I open the door and step Into a carriage. "Where to?" the driver asked me
"To the knightly tournament." I heard a loud Neigh from the horse.
