"Who is this pretty lady you've brought with you Katrina" I stepped up the stairs to the private jet consciously using my arms to cover my top

"So how long will we be staying here" It felt different being back in Italy I was nowhere near comfortable it felt tense and I was frightened to the bone Katrina and her brothers on the other hand didn't seem to be as on edge as me

Wobbling I scrummaged through the fridge my cravings were taking hold of me today & life was feeling like heaven ever since I told Sergio I was pregnant

A tiny bit of guilt filled me because I knew it wasn't his

I was pregnant with Katrina's brother Mattia's baby and I was grasping onto a string of hope that Sergio wouldn't find out it wasn't easy but me and Mattia snuck around well only when Katrina she would of course help me

He was the only one who made me feel human and have faith in humanity Sergio and Lorenzo were monsters

He was wearing his regular attire as if ready to go to work which I know has been hell due to Katrina taking a majority of their business right from beneath them.

"I was just grabbing a snack are we leaving?" I straightened my dress with my hands as best as I could
it was late who felt like going out at this late

My dress was red and silk paired with red YSL heels my hair in slick back I hated when it was in my face

He helped me into the car as we drove to wherever we were going

"Amore don't worry about that worry about the fact that you will be bearing my children these next few years you don't need to be worried about the businesses we run because you'll have all the money you need right?" He pecked me on the cheek

I hate when he shuts me out and changes the topic I nodded the topic of children coming to my mind

"But don't you think that is too much?"

"No, I think it is just enough"

He ended the conversation as we pulled up to a building in the city side it was beautiful everyone here was normal walking living their daily lives something I wish I could do

The smell of vanilla hit my nose it was a restaurant a small one

We walked right past the restaurant making our way towards the elevator taking us up to the 12th floor which contained offices and a conference room

My eyes brightened at the sight in front but before Sergio could notice I quickly calmed myself down Katrina she's got to know where Vivian is and màttia! Oh how excited he'll be when I tell him the news

Slowly we walked into the conference room it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop I cringed at the clinking of my heels making such loud noise sneaking a small tight-lipped smile at Mattia and he quickly did one back before his rude demeanor came back looking at Sergio

At the top of the table sat a middle-aged man good looking a grey beard grey hair & very fit

"You can all guess why you're here this, the rift between you Bernardi's is fucking up my business" the old man spoke

"I've said it once but I think neither side seems to get it so I've decided to pull you together so we can figure this out & of course if this does not work... I will be forced to pick a side with no hard feelings simply because it's better for me"

"Diego you seem to have messed up with Sergio because we don't need you we can go back to our old supply and just get just as better business" Katrina clarified

The man's mouth moved once again but nothing came out as a loud pop was heard and his head dropped down

One by one Sergio's bodyguards dropped down after an occurrence of more pops
