The Cursed Love

Chapter 5- THE MYRKVIOR FOREST

Aradia's thoughts were killing her! The night was falling on the two kingdoms, but she couldn't close even one eye...all the moments from today were repeating over and over again! She was so close to get the book...what will she do now? She doesn't have another chance for getting in the castle, especially when the king knows that she's looking for something!

After some minutes, she got out from her chambers and went to the garden, when she heard some voices!
"I told you, your highness, that it exists! We can't hide it from people, it will come again and will destroy everything in its path, we can't risk it!" Consul Shawn, the ruler of Lenix said

"We can't do such thing, consul! I'm aware that my people are already scared by the creatures from the Myrkvior forest, I won't put one more worry over their shoulders! Elvandar is the kingdom of light, it would look horrible for us, to be scared by a dark creature!" The king spoke, making Aradia confused

"It is not just a dark creature your highness, its powers are deadly, I've never seen this kind of darkness before! The nightmare is coming, ready for destroying everything!" Consul Shawn said, before spotting Aradia. "I should leave, your highness, it's already late, we'll discuss everything in more details tomorrow!" He spoke, before leaving

The king turned to his daughter, hiding the worries that rushed over his face. "Aradia, what are you doing here, dear?"
"What was he talking about?" Aradia said determined and confused

"Nothing to worry my dear, just another creature from the forest!" The king spoke

"But-"

"You should go to sleep, it's already late and I assume that tomorrow you'll have a lot of tasks!" The king cut her words, before leaving to the castle

Aradia went after him, until she arrived to her chambers, throwing herself in the bed

Something was happening and by her father's face, it wasn't just a creature...she could see his fear!

While she was trying to connect the pieces for finding out, she fell asleep, having again a dream or a nightmare...this thing was never clear!

All of a sudden, her chambers disappeared and she found herself in a cave, gasping for air as she felt a painful stab in the heart! She couldn't move, she couldn't talk, she was like a statue, until someone whispered in her ear as he took the sword out of her heart :''Please forgive me, my love!"

She woke up screaming until her lungs couldn't take it anymore, sweats forming on her forehead, until the realization of where she was hit her! She was in the Myrkvior forest, in front of a cage...

It looked like in her dream, like it was calling her...she moved forward, till an ugly and horrible creature with dark skin and monstrous red eyes appeared all of a sudden, ready to kill her! She jumped behind a giant tree, trying to stop the creature with her powers, but none of them worked...she fell powerless, helpless and the worst...useless! She have never felt more useless than now!

"The Elvandar powers don't work in the Myrkvior forest...it is called the forest of darkness for a reason!" A voice in the dark spoke and Aradia wanted the ground to swallow her, when she recognized that voice! What is he even doing here?
