Aradia was furious that she accepted the deal with that demon! He tricked to her! She was almost caught! Aradia was sure that it was his plan...for all the blame to be on her while he gets away with it! But she won't stay in her chambers and wait for him! He tricked to her, so she will do it too! Aradia doesn't need his help or permission for getting in the library, she can do it by herself too!
She waited till midnight, making sure that everyone was asleep, before escaping! For Aradia, everything she was doing was feeling like an escape from the walls she was locked all those years!
Before leaving, Aradia changed her silver long gown into a pair of tight, black pants and a black shirt as well, which helped her to be unnoticed in the night that had set! She hid a small dagger at her ankle and a bigger one at her waist, the outfit covering them perfectly! Her silver hair, soft as silk was tied in a ponytail and as a final detail, she put a mask like the one at the ball, so she wouldn't be recognized! Although it was night, the lumars have powers that are focusing on the darkness, which meant that most of them can be awake!
With a last breath, she took her hook and fixed in on the balcony, very tight! When she was sure that it was safe, she started to descent from the balcony!
In that moment, Aradia felt free like never! She always dreamed about this! Leaving the castle behind and do what she wants for the first time, to go where she wants, without someone to tell her what to do or that she's a mistake! Of course, nobody was saying this to her now, but they didn't need to, she felt it every time she was looking at herself in the mirror! She was a mistake, a dangerous weapon, someone who can destroy everything in her path, if she doesn't control her emotions! She tried to accept her faith, but she was tired! Tired of feeling useless, not enough, nobody important! She was always just there, in the picture, in a corner where no one saw her! All the eyes and attention were going every time at Gwen, her being the perfect princess and daughter!
Gwen was everything she couldn't and wished desperately to be!
Her thoughts were cut by the touch of the ground! She did it! She escaped! She started to run with all her strength to the Lumar kingdom!
From getting in there, she needed to pass through the Lingmoon sector and that's what she was scared the most! Maybe lady Morana doesn't remember about her, sneaking to the Oracle, but that doesn't mean that she won't keep an eye to the sector! Lady Morana was a powerful woman and ruler and Aradia knew as well that being caught sneaking into the enemy kingdom won't look appropriate for someone with a status like hers!
As she run as fast as she could in the middle of the night, she found herself in the Lingmoon sector! She stopped for a second, analyzing everything! She's never been in this sector before, actually, she's never been in a sector before, except for Lightning!
As she was looking everywhere for a sign, she observed a path that was becoming darker and darker, so she believed that it must be the right one! As she walked in there, she started to feel strange, with every step she took, a feeling was forming in her stomach! It was stronger than fear and she couldn't detect what it was!
She walked and walked as the trees became darker and lifeless, the flowers not having even a drop of light and life! Everything was dead and hopeless! Her feeling became hard to bear with every step she took, before she stopped in her trace, seeing a person turned back! The person was looking exactly like her, same features, same hair, but in a long gown and younger!
Her younger self started to run and Aradia went after her, not believing her eyes! She run and run until her eyes caught that person again!
