After spending the morning exploring the nearby town, Sailub and Pon decided to spend the afternoon by the beach. The crystal-clear water and golden sands called to them, promising a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of their usual lives. As they set up their towels and chairs under the shade of a large umbrella, the gentle sound of waves lapping against the shore provided a soothing backdrop.

Sailub insisted on ordering lunch from a nearby beachside café, wanting to treat Pon to something special. “You relax here,” he said, kissing Pon’s forehead before heading off to place their order. “I’ll be back in a few minutes.”

Pon nodded, watching Sailub walk away. He felt a flutter in his chest, the sight of his alpha moving confidently along the beach reminding him of just how lucky he was to have someone like Sailub by his side. Despite the distance, Pon could sense the magnetic pull of their bond, a connection that had only grown stronger since they acknowledged their feelings for one another.

As Pon settled back into his chair, he let his mind drift, thinking about Aon and how much he missed his son, even if it had only been a day since they’d left him with Pooh. He knew Sailub was probably feeling the same way, which was why the alpha had been checking his phone constantly for updates. It was endearing, really—a reminder of how deeply Sailub cared for their little family.

Pon let out a contented sigh, his eyes following Sailub’s figure as he reached the café. Sailub stood in line, his attention focused on his phone, no doubt watching the latest video Pooh had sent of Aon. Pon could imagine the proud smile on Sailub’s face as he watched their son’s antics, and it made his heart swell with love.

But then, out of the corner of his eye, Pon noticed someone else approaching Sailub—a slender omega with sun-kissed skin and a confident stride. The omega’s gaze was locked on Sailub, a coy smile playing on his lips as he walked right up to him. Pon’s eyes narrowed, a sense of unease washing over him as he watched the scene unfold.

The omega said something to Sailub, his voice likely laced with flirtation. Pon couldn’t hear the words from where he was sitting, but he didn’t need to. The way the omega was standing—too close, too familiar—told Pon everything he needed to know.

To his relief, Sailub didn’t seem to notice the omega’s advances. His attention remained glued to his phone, completely absorbed in whatever cute thing Aon was doing in the video. The alpha offered a polite nod in response to whatever the omega said, his focus clearly elsewhere.

But the omega wasn’t giving up. He leaned in closer, brushing a hand lightly against Sailub’s arm in what was undoubtedly meant to be a flirtatious gesture. That was the final straw for Pon.

A fierce surge of possessiveness flared in Pon’s chest, surprising even him. He had never considered himself the jealous type, but seeing someone else try to stake a claim on what was rightfully his sent his blood boiling. Without a second thought, Pon pushed himself up from his chair and marched across the beach toward Sailub.

As he approached, Pon could see the omega trying again to engage Sailub in conversation, his voice low and suggestive. Sailub remained oblivious, still focused on his phone, but that didn’t matter. Pon wasn’t about to let this omega get any closer.

“Excuse me,” Pon said sharply as he reached them, his voice carrying a warning edge.

The omega turned to look at him, a brief flicker of surprise crossing his face before he quickly masked it with a smile. “Oh, hello,” he said, his tone dripping with false sweetness. “I was just—”

“Talking to my alpha,” Pon cut him off, stepping closer to Sailub and slipping a hand possessively around his waist. He felt Sailub stiffen slightly at the unexpected contact, but when the alpha looked down and saw Pon’s determined expression, he immediately relaxed.

Sailub blinked, finally noticing the omega for the first time. Confusion crossed his features as he took in the situation. “Pon? What’s going on?”

Pon ignored the question, his focus still on the omega. “Is there something you need?” he asked, his tone firm.

The omega hesitated, clearly taken aback by Pon’s sudden arrival and assertiveness. He opened his mouth to respond, but one look at the steely determination in Pon’s eyes had him thinking better of it. “I was just… saying hello,” the omega stammered, taking a step back.

“Hello,” Pon replied coldly, not letting his guard down for a second. “Now, if you’ll excuse us, we have lunch to enjoy.”

The omega’s smile faltered, and with a final glance at Sailub, he mumbled something incoherent before turning on his heel and walking away, his retreat far less confident than his approach had been.

Sailub watched the omega leave, still a bit bewildered by what had just happened. He turned to Pon, raising an eyebrow. “What was that all about?”

Pon finally let out a breath he didn’t realize he’d been holding, the tension draining from his shoulders. “That omega was flirting with you,” he said, his voice still edged with lingering frustration.

Sailub’s brow furrowed in confusion. “Flirting with me? I didn’t even notice.”

“I know,” Pon replied, his expression softening as he looked up at Sailub. “You were too busy watching Aon’s video. But I noticed, and I didn’t like it.”

Sailub’s eyes widened slightly, understanding dawning on him. He chuckled, pulling Pon closer so that their bodies were pressed together. “Were you jealous, Pon?”

Pon blushed, averting his gaze as he mumbled, “Maybe a little.”

Sailub’s heart melted at the sight of Pon’s vulnerability, and he couldn’t resist the urge to tilt Pon’s chin up, forcing him to meet his eyes. “You don’t ever have to worry about that, Pon,” he said, his voice soft and reassuring. “You’re the only one for me. I don’t even see anyone else.”

Pon’s cheeks flushed an even deeper shade of pink, but there was a small, relieved smile on his lips. “I know. I just… couldn’t stand the thought of someone else trying to take you away.”

Sailub leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to Pon’s lips. “No one could ever take me away from you. I’m yours, Pon. Always.”

The kiss deepened, and Pon melted into Sailub’s embrace, all thoughts of the omega and any lingering jealousy fading away. In that moment, it was just the two of them—together, as they were always meant to be.

When they finally pulled apart, both a little breathless, Sailub smiled down at Pon, his eyes filled with love. “Come on,” he said, his voice light with amusement. “Let’s get our lunch and head back to the beach. I promise to focus on you this time, not just Aon.”

Pon laughed softly, the sound like music to Sailub’s ears. “I’ll hold you to that,” he teased, giving Sailub’s hand a playful squeeze.

As they walked back to the café together, hand in hand, Pon felt a renewed sense of confidence and security in their relationship. Sailub was his, and nothing—not even a flirtatious omega—could come between them.

And as they returned to their spot on the beach, sharing lunch and enjoying each other’s company, Pon knew without a doubt that their bond was stronger than ever
