The rest of the afternoon passed in a blissful haze. Pon and Sailub spent their time lounging on the beach, sharing laughter, stories, and the occasional kiss. It was a rare moment of peace, one that neither of them took for granted. For a few precious hours, the world outside faded away, leaving only the two of them and the gentle rhythm of the ocean waves.

As the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting a warm orange glow over the water, Pon and Sailub decided to take a walk along the shore. The cool sand beneath their feet and the soft sound of the waves created a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for reflecting on the day and their growing bond.

“I never thought we’d get to have moments like this,” Pon said quietly, his hand securely tucked into Sailub’s as they strolled along the beach.

Sailub glanced at him, his eyes filled with affection. “Why do you say that?”

Pon shrugged, a small smile playing on his lips. “I guess… I just never imagined that someone like you would be a part of my life. And now, here we are, spending a day at the beach like an ordinary couple.”

Sailub squeezed Pon’s hand gently. “You deserve this, Pon. We both do. We’ve been through so much, but we’re finally at a place where we can just… be.”

Pon nodded, leaning into Sailub’s side. “I know. It’s just hard to believe sometimes. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, for something to come and ruin this.”

Sailub stopped walking, turning to face Pon fully. He cupped Pon’s cheek with his free hand, his thumb brushing gently against Pon’s skin. “Nothing is going to ruin this,” he said firmly. “Not as long as we’re together. Whatever comes our way, we’ll face it together.”

Pon searched Sailub’s eyes, finding nothing but sincerity and love reflected back at him. The doubts and fears that had been lingering at the back of his mind began to dissipate, replaced by a warm sense of security.

“I believe you,” Pon whispered, his voice barely audible over the sound of the waves. “I trust you, Sailub.”

Sailub’s heart swelled with emotion, and he leaned down to press a tender kiss to Pon’s lips. It was a kiss filled with promises—promises of a future together, of love and devotion, and of facing whatever challenges life might throw at them as a united front.

When they finally pulled apart, Pon rested his head against Sailub’s chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart. It was a sound that brought him comfort, a reminder that he was safe and loved.

“I love you, Sailub,” Pon murmured, the words slipping out naturally, without hesitation.

Sailub’s arms tightened around him, holding him close. “I love you too, Pon. More than you’ll ever know.”

They stood there for a while longer, wrapped up in each other, letting the world around them fall away. It was a moment of pure connection, one that solidified the bond they shared.

Eventually, they made their way back to their spot on the beach, where they found the food Sailub had ordered waiting for them. As they ate, the conversation flowed easily, with Sailub sharing stories from his childhood and Pon talking about his dreams for the future.

At one point, Sailub couldn’t resist checking his phone for an update from Pooh, who had been sending regular videos and photos of Aon throughout the day. When a new message popped up, Sailub’s eyes lit up with excitement as he opened it.

“Look at this,” Sailub said, showing Pon the screen. It was a video of Aon trying to climb onto the couch, his little legs kicking in determination.
