The skies was rumblimg. It was covered by dark clouds, lightning and thunder accompanying it.
The J City was unusually quite. Although it wasn't surprising, given the current circumstances.
The city was invadeed by powerful humanoid monsters coming from deep within the sea, every single one of them being at the minimum an Wolf Level Threat, as estimated by the Hero Association. In the empty streets of J City, beside thunder, the sound of engines rewounded in the city.
Genos was scouting the city for any of the newly risen monsters. However, he has not found any as of yet.
Genos:Splitting up to search for the monsters...I am the one to suggest it. Of course, I think it is the most logical course of action. We are covering more searching ground that way. That will lead us to deal with the issue more efficiently, but...Kohina-sama, why have you choose to come with me.
Genos asked Kohina the question that has been turmoiling his mind this entire time, turning towards his right shoulder that the little girl was holding on with ease despite Genos's current speed. While Kohina's speciality might be sudden an lethal attacks, her physical abilities aren't half bad either.
Kohina:Eh? Am I bothering Genos?
Genos:No, that is not the case. It's just that you seem to like spending time with your father, especially in such situations.
Kohina:Of course I like spending time with papa. He's my papa, after all! I like having fun with papa. But, truth to be told, I was worried about Genos.
Genos:You were...Worried about me?

On another part of the city, Kumagawa stood still while watching the sky. He began talking about his current situation.
Kumagawa:[Haha...Guess I'm a bit lonely right now. I've been taking care if my Kohina for so long that I got used to her always being around me. Of course I would. She's my daughter, so I should take care of her. Even a guy like me, that has such shaky morals, knows that. You know, my parents aren't the greatest parents. But even so, they didn't abandon me. They still acknowglede my existence, talked with me regulary about useless things, put food on the table for me and provided ne with a nice house and an financially stable life.]
Unlike many tragic characters, Kumagawa's trauma and hardship didn't stem from his home life. For a long time, his house was the simgle place he felt like he belong too.
Kumagawa:[Yeah, they weren't the greatest parents. They didn't go to insane lenghts like Hitoyoshi-sensei did. Still, they were pretty good parents in my opinion. Ah, let me let you on a secret. You see, Kohina's birth wasn't exactly orthodox. She was actually made in a lab with my DNA. So I guess she'd be my clone. Still, there is still the genetic proof of that. Really, isn't a clone just your child with fewer steps. She's still my daughter, even if I didn't conceive her in the traditional sense. Although there was something between me and Anshin'in-san...Ah, I won't let you in such private details! You should be thankful that I told you this much already! This is like some really secret stuff!]
What Kumagawa got in return was a gurgle. His conversation partner was a humanoid fish monster that was laid on the pavement, all limbs broken, and it was gurgling on his own blood.
Kumagawa:[Are you asking me to spare you? Really...Just because you're a monster, that's no excuse for being a lousy listener!]
Kumagawa pouted and kicked the fish monster's head. As the kick connected, the monster's head was reduced to blood and red bits.
The blood had splattered on Kumagawa's shoe. But that hardly mattered, because he was already covered in blood.
In fact, many of the Sea Folk were around Kumagawa. They were either crushed, cut to pieces, stabbed by oversized screws, or crucified by the very same iconic weapons.
But all of them had something in common, beside the aquatic theme. They all died with an pained and terrified expression on their faces.
Kumagawa:[Haaah, so lonely...I miss Zenkichi-chan.]
From the side of a building Kumagawa saw a blur a very familiar blur. A very familiar blur.
Kumagawa:[Sonic-chan? Wasn't he surprised to be in prison. Oh, well, Let's go bother him for a bit.]
Kumagawa pointed towards the direction Sonic was going in with a mischevious face. At that exact moment, it started raining.
Kumagawa:[Oh? Well, this is gonna wash the blood of me. Good thing I thought of this before hand and I have Kohina an umbrella.]
Sonic was enjoying his time off prison. He decided to go where the crisis was taking part.
Not because he wanted to help, but solely because all this ruckus was bound to attract Kumagawa. But he ended up in quite the situation.
He encountered a very strong fish monster. The hero that helped him escape from prison was already down for the count.
Even so, Sonic was still considerably faster than the monster. But he can't deal any damage and he was getting tired as well, there's just so much time he can go on.
The monster was charging at him once again with a predatorial smirk. However, both combatants had their senses spike up all of a sudden.
An iminent danger was close. A danger known to Somic, but one he can't take in his current state.
Suddenly, oversized screws sprout out from the side of the building theiy were in, turning it to ruins. However, both Sonic and the monster were fast enough to get away in time.
Kumagawa:[Sonic-chan, let's play! Oya...He ran away!]
Kumagawa stomped his foot on the ground like a child that didn't get the toy he wanted. Then he noticed the other man in the room with him.
A large and muscular man with black hair styled afro and facial hair as well as black eyes, that also just happened to be naked. His name, at least the one he's know by, was Puri Puri Prisoner.

Puri:Eh? You know me?
