Genos had always been a responsable person, even before he was a cyborg. So, it only came it naturally for him to look around their shared apartament once a week to make sure everything was fine.

Everything seems to be working well. When he came into the living room he found Kohina watching TV while Kumagawa sat on the floor playing on a console of some kind.

Genos:Sensei, is that...Tetris?

Kumagawa:[Hm? You can see it very well, can't you? After all, Tetris can be nothing else but Tetris.]

Yes, it was a very well knows digital puzzel-type game. There are varying models of animations for Tetris, but you'd still be able to see that it's Tetris from the first look.

But a console for Tetris? Do they even make these anymore?

Genos:Do you like Tetris by any chance?

Kumagawa:[Well, of course I do. You play games that you like, don't you? In fact, Tetris has been my favorite game since childhood.]

For that long? Now that Genos thinks about it, how long would that be?

He has no idea what Kumagawa's actual age is. He looks to be relatively young, around hos twenties, but he learned that when it comes to his teacher nothing is like it seems.

Still, he can't just go and ask that. That would be rude.

Kumagawa:[Though I'm pretty particular about the way I play Tetris.]

Genos:Particular?

Kumagawa:[Yes. I love making four lines dissapear at the same time, you see? My heart beats with sich a rhytm when that happens. It's like I'm experiencing my first love all over again. It's magical when all those blocks dissapear at the same moment. I'll only use the I block vertically. Orizontally isn't an option for me to begin with. If I can't do that...Well, I can always just try again.]

Genos had to pause for a moment. He'd never seen someone as passionate about anything as Kumagawa seems to be about Tetris.

Genos:That aside, you seem to ve in a good mood today, aren't you, Sensei?

Now that Genos thinks about it Kumagawa always seems to be in a better mood when he returns from the bank. Which is weird, because he's not that interesed in money.

Kohina:But Papa has been rejected again, haven't you?

Kumagawa:[Ah, Kohina-chan is still so young. The hunt is 90% of the fun of it all. Just the excitment of what'd happen, what would she say.]

Genos:I...What is going on?

Kohina:Don't mind it. Genos is too young.

Her father said about how the hunt was a big part of it. But Kohina thinks that the hunt is all there is to it for him.

Kohina had wondered how it would be to have a mother multiple times, that is true. Still, the young girl can't picture her father with anyone.

Kumagawa had never denied how he likes woman, but he never seemed to be interesed in anything beyond teasing. But that was fine, that kind of contradiction was just something normal when it came to him.

Genos:Huh...

Genos saw a piece of paper scattered in the floor. Like the good boy he is, he went to pick it up...Only to immediatly incinerate it.

Genos:Who would dare...

A threat letter. Someone dared to send a threat letter to Kumagawa.

Kumagawa:[Ahaha, Genos-chan seems to be extra proactive today. You can find more in the trash bin, if you're interesed.]

Genos:How had this happened...

Kohina:It was probably that guy!

Kumagawa:[That guy?]

Kohina:Yeah, Papa! The Neet guy!

Kumagawa:[...Did I meet someone like that?]

Genos did remember that guy as well, the one that found himself with a big mouth after Kumagawa had killed the Deep Sea King. However, it seems Kumagawa didn't think of him nearly enough to even remember.

Kumagawa:[Hm...Oh, was he really muscular abd naked with a sort of afro?]

Genos:No, but...Sensei, I think that's the kimd of person you should talk about with the police.

Kumagawa:[Ah, I see. Well, it doesn't matter. Those things just made me a bit nostalgic.]

Why, Kumagawa would say he had a long chain of popularity since long ago. It's just that rather than being famous, he was infamous.

Genos:And this...

Genos looked aside at a letter that was rammed. Rather than a threat letter, it was a thanking letter from the father and daughter that Kohina saved, which was adressed to both Kumagawa and Kohina.

Genos:...That reminds me. Sensei, yesterday the Hero Association called the house phone, asking for a meeting today.

Kumagawa:[Eh, why haven't you told me? Now I have to get ready!]

Genos:Will you?

Kumagawa:[No. They called me on my free day. Why would I get ready for them?]

Kohina was a big girl. She was mature and could take of herself.

However, Kohina was also fussy like a cat. She was independent, yet demanded constant attention.

It was a trait that the late Najimi Ajimu possesed as well. Upon meeting her Zenkichi remarked that despite being a genetical clone to Kumagawa, she really seemed like the child of Kumagawa and Najimi.

It was like a cruel play made by the world itself. Well, that wasn't anything new to Kumagawa.

It made him feel warm in a way that he didn't feel in all those years before he had adopted Kohina. You could say it was fate, or just how deeply his unhealthy relationship with Najimi affected him.

Be it as it may, Kohina demanded to go with him. And as always, Kumagawa relented.

Kumagawa:[Ah, such a drag.]

Busho:Kumagawa Misogi?

Kohina jumped down from the couch from where she sat waiting for her father as a new voice came in. Bot daughter and father turned their heads to see Busho who seems to have run all the way here.

Kohina:Papa, do you know this guy?

Kumagawa:[Ah, Busho-chan! It's been awhile!]

Busho:We, uh, never really meet.

Kumagawa didn't remember the guy who spread basty rumours about him. Bit somehow he remembered a worker of the Hero Association he exchanged a few words with over an call.

Kumagawa Misogi's mind truly worked in strange ways. Or maybe he just liked social workers.

Kumagawa:[You came all the way here to greet me. Haha, I'm not used to such a warm gesture.]

Busho:I've heard the rumours that talk about you as some pathetic fraud. Of course, I know they're all nothing but lies. However, a certain faction within the hero society seems to have taken an interes in that.

Kumagawa:[A certain faction, you say?]
