Chapter 19 (THIRD POV)

After a silent and awkward ride; Seth and Leah got out of the old death machine of Bella's truck that was thankfully given to the two as a way to transport without shifting.

"I don't think we should do this." Leah stated, her eyes rolling at her brother but Seth shook his head.

"We have to figure this out before Simon gets back, Just so we don't freak anyone out until we know the truth." Seth replied, shutting the door. "Let's go"

Leah held back a groan but began to walk to the hospital, Seth was eager and nervous along with Leah.

Once the two walked into the hospital, they both were smacked with the scent of sweet bleach and strong cleaning bleach. It seemed as if this hospital was trying its best to keep things clean but god, it was awful to the siblings.

"Hello! How can I help you!" A cheery voice greeted the two, it was a mid 30 receptionist that sat at the desk.

"Hi ma'am! We're here to see Dr. Cullen" Seth stated, throwing the receptionist a cheeky grin. The receptionist nodded, looking down at her screen before asking.

"A name for the appointment?"

"Uh-U" Seth scrambled, he should've tried to squeeze an appointment in with the town's famous doctor.

"Leah Clearwater." Leah spoke up, hoping that Carlisle would hear the two. "We don't have an appointment but you can tell Dr. Cullen."

"I don't think that's possible-"

"It's fine! How can I help you?" Dr. Cullen asked coming through the two back room doors, interrupting the now star struck receptionist.

"We need to talk...in private." Leah lightly mumbled, shooting the drooling receptionist a glance. Dr. Cullen nodded, he smiled lightly before turning to the woman.

"Please tell any of my patients that I will be with them shortly, Beverly." Carlisle stated with a half smile, that smile made Beverly's heart quicken.

"Y-y-yes sir!" Beverly stuttered, her cheeks clouded with blush as she looked away from the extremely handsome doctor.

"Thank you" Carlisle added before turning his attention to the two sets of doors, pushing them open for the siblings. "After you! Just go to the room on the right there."

Leah and Seth obeyed, quickly huddling into the smallish room. Carlisle closed the room's door, pulling a chair to him and making himself comfortable with a clip board.

"Okay, tell me what's wrong" Carlisle stated, he looked over the two; not seeing anything wrong. "Does your shoulder hurt Seth from the past incident?"

"No, it's not me....it's Leah" Seth mumbled, he looked over to his older sister. Carlisle was shocked at seeing it was the pack member that didn't care for vampires but one of course, he turned his attention to Leah.

"What's wrong? Did Simon bite you or-"

"I think I'm pregnant." Leah blurted out, her eyes darting away from Carlisle.

Carlisle was in great shock, he didn't even think that was possible between two different beings like Leah and Simon.

"And before you ask, Simon doesn't know" Leah added on, her cheeks tinted with blush as she looked away from Carlisle.

"Please just run a test on her or something...we need to know" Seth nearly begged, his eyes held desperation and Carlisle nodded.

"I'll quickly get an ultrasound set up, only for us three to be in." Carlisle stated, writing down some information. "I would hate to risk anything...speaking of risks, why did you come to the hospital?"

"I don't want the mind reading le-vampire to hear and tell Simon." Leah mumbled, fixing her mistake.

Carlisle nodded, finishing scribbling the words in his paper and getting up.

"Alright, give me a second and I'll be back." Carlisle stated with a tight smile, he exit the room.

"I hope it's a boy" Seth commented, earning a death glare from his sister. "What? You want a girl?"

"I don't want an abomination...did you see how Bella was literally dead and still is?" Leah nearly growled, her mind was flashing images of what Jacob saw and went through that night...

"Nessie isn't an abomination" Seth growled back in a whisper, he didn't even bother try to fight after that.

"Sorry for the lateness, some of the nurses were trying to come into help." Carlisle apologized sheepishly, a couple of his blonde strands of hair was falling onto his forehead. He was pushing a machine in, he looked over to a tense Leah.

"Please sit and lay on that cot, raise your shirt please" Carlisle hastily asks, pushing the machine closer to the cot.

Leah obeyed, she placed herself onto the cot and raised her shirt. Exposing her stomach, it wasn't as flat as normal...

"This gel will be slightly cold so apologies again." Carlisle stated, squirting the cold gel onto her stomach.

Leah winced slightly but didn't say anything, Seth was positioning himself to see the screen.

"Okay let's get this started." Carlisle hummed, he began to rub the transducer upon her stomach.

His other hand was keying with the keyboard, trying to get the pictures at a perfect angle until he stopped abruptly. All the air was out of his body, even if he didn't need any of it.

"W-what's wrong doc?" Seth asked, his wide eyes trying to make out the screen. His sister was doing the same, trying to find the problem.

"Leah, you are pregnant with twins" Carlisle stated, his expression was expressionless.

"W-what?!?" Leah asked, nearly screaming it.

Simon and Emmett was shoving each other playfully, after a great day of hunting.

"Cmon bro! Turn into the most strong animal and let's fight!" Emmett begged, his golden eyes pleading at Simon.

"No, Em, sorry! But do you remember last time?? Rosalie beat my ass across the yard with all those scratches." Simon exclaimed, his messy brown hair was sleek back during the trip.

"Guess what she did when she was finished" Emmett stated, his eyes holding a glint that was oddly familiar.

"What." Simon asked, he was already regretting asking.

"Me!!" Emmett stated with a boyish smirk, Simon quickly shifted into a huge black form of a polar bear and let out a loud roar.

"Fuck yeah! Bring it Teddy!!" Emmett shouted, letting his arms fly up in the air.

Simon launched himself onto his brother.
