Leah's POV

I was nervous, more than nervous to be honest...afraid...I always wanted kids and a husband but I knew I could never have them with my circumstances...until Simon came along and jumbled everything up.

I now have a 'mate' and now pregnant with twins...after freaking out, I calmed down and decided to tell Simon right away...hence why I'm sitting on the Cullen's front porch.

My eyes drifted on the well known tree line, it was dark and had to be around 8pm.

"So I decided to try squirrel, worst fucking thing ever...it's all nutty and dirt tasting" Emmett blurted out, finally in hearing range. They were running towards the house, if I was human I would've seen two blurs heading straight towards me.

They both quickly halted, Emmett's clothes were   dirty but Simon's appearance was far from even being wrinkled.

"Oooo someone is in the dog house!" Emmett teased, he playfully punched Simon's shoulder. "I'll let you two be! Leah and Simon! Goodnight!"

I nodded to him in thanks, he walked around me as I got up to walk to Simon. Simon shot me a smile until he noticed something was off, he sped towards me and grabbed my hand.

"Sweetheart, is everything okay?" His now bright golden eyes looking down at me, concern was etched across his face. "Was it Paul again? If so, I will kill h-"

"No, Simon...let's take a walk" I stated, nervously, my body was shaking but with anxiety.

"I know what happen on walks and if you decided to leave-"

"Simon, let's go from here to talk. I'm not leaving" especially right now, I mentally added.

"Okay" Simon quickly agreed, taking my hand and began to walk with me.

"How was your hunt?" I asked, his eyes were like a bright honey color.

"It went good! I apologize that it took so long, Emmett decided to see if he could take me on as a bear." Simon said, it was pretty easy to change the subject with him.

Once we got further into the woods, close to the treaty line, I stopped and turned to Simon.

"I'm p-pregnant." I admitted, I was so afraid to see how he would react.

"W-what?" He asked, shocked was written over his face and body. "Pregnant?"

"Yes." I replied, I looked away and stared at a bush of ferns. "With twins"

"What!!!" Simon exclaimed, sweeping me off the ground in a massive bear hug. "Twins?!?"

I was shocked to reply to him, my body relaxed under his touch and it seemed like he was not done with bouncing me around.

"Wait a minute...are you afraid?" He slowed down, placing my two feet on the ground before tilting my head up to look at my face. His eyes held recognition as he noticed I was afraid.

"Mhm" I hummed through my throat, my eyes avoided his now dark honey color. "I've seen what vampire hybrid birth looks like and it was so bad...that's why Bella is dead."

"But thing is, you're not human" Simon pointed out, trying to comfort me. "You are the strongest woman I know and that's saying a lot. You can handle this, better yet, let's go to Carlisle."

"I've seen him already"

"When?" Simon asked, his eyebrows scrunching together as he kept his eyes down on me.

"This evening, Seth knew something was wrong when I threw up" I explained, his expression loosened into sympathetic.

"Love, I'm so sorry!! You should've called me once you threw up...I should've been there." Simon profusely apologized, grabbing my hand with his free one.

"It's okay, Si" I stated, my eyes boring into his. "I'm fine...I can get through this."

"It's not just you, it's we and I swear I will be here for you and them...if you want to keep them of course." Simon replied, his eyes darting to my stomach then back to mine.

"I do, I always wanted kids" I admitted, my hands got out of his grasp and planted on my stomach. It was a small bulge but they are definitely in there.

Simon's eyes went wide as he finally noticed it was real, that this was real.

"Can I?" He asked, stepping closer to me.

"Of course" I said, on the verge of laughing, why would I say 'no?'

Simon took an unnecessary gulp and placed his two huge hands on my stomach, I removed mine so he could actually experience the full bulge.

Then all of a sudden I felt a kick, my eyes widen and I gasp.

"Did you feel that?" I asked, looking up at the awe filled vampire before me.

"Yes" Simon stated, getting down on his knees so he could be face to my stomach. "Hello, my little loves."

Honestly this had to be the most heart warming thing to me but suddenly my thoughts were ruined as I thought about how crazy it would seem.

Two people in the middle of the woods and one is down on his knees, talking to a barely shown stomach.

"Simon, let's go back to the house" I grabbed his hands, helping him up...even if he didn't need it but he was still shocked to say the least.

Simon nodded, getting on his two feet. I began walking the way to the house until I was quickly swooped up, bridal style in Simon's arms.

"Where do you think you're doing?" Simon asked, his lips twitching into a playful smile.

"Walking?" I stated in a dumbfounded tone.

"Sorry, Sweetheart but you are not going to step a foot on the ground." Simon stated.

"But I'm not even that far!" I exclaimed.

"Still! You are carrying special cargo along with being special cargo." Simon reasoned, he began to slowly walk to the house. "You are not going to be walking nor lifting anything even a finger."

"Simon" I growled out in a whine, throwing my head back just like a child.

"Leah, once we get back to the house...we are doing an announcement to my family and reading a whole lot of pregnancy books!" Simon stated, still not budging on putting me down.

"First of all, I told Carlisle to tell everyone and second, this isn't a normal pregnancy!" I reasoned back to the crazy buffoon carrying me.

"Still! No sushi or coffee." Simon stated, my eyebrows went up in questioning.

"Don't ask, just saw that on the web one day...supposedly very bad for pregnant women."

"Web? Who says web now a days?" I teased him, he halted and looked down at me playfully.

"Shush." He stated with a playful smile "as you can tell, I haven't been playing as a high-school  student for a thousand years like my siblings."

"That is true, you must of acted like an old man" I said teasingly again.

His chest let out a playful growl, he began to ran all the way home then straight to his room.

It honestly was just like a blur, I was normal to speed but this...this was definitely faster than wolves.

Simon tossed me on his fluffy bed then jumped on me, lightly.

"This is what you get for calling me an old man." Simon then began to tickle me.

I began to thrash with laughter, trying to kick him off of me.

"Alright alright, you're the hippest." I giggled out, trying to get him to stop. After a second later, he stopped and looked down at me.

"Good, now keep that as a reminder." Simon stated with a smirk, giving me a peck on the cheek. "I'm going to quickly change, I'll be right back."

He got off of me, turning around and leaving me to be free from him.

"Definitely an old man, who thinks being the hippest is a compliment?" I asked, he quickly turned to me and I let the fight begin...
