Chapter 7 (Simon POV)

After an hour or so, Seth completely explained everything that ever happened to him and Leah. The bad times, good times and even the darkest time, whenever Harry passed away. Unfortunately, I wasn't here to finish whatever vampire that purposely scared him into a heart attack...but at least, it was Edward and not Carlisle with his 'you can change for the better' crap. Seth and I just sat side to side on a fallen log, I could feel his heat radiating on my skin like the sun hitting an iceberg. It wasn't painful or enjoyable, it just pointed out one more of my differences to Leah.

"Let's head in, I wonder what Esme is cooking" Seth stated with a nod of his head towards the Cullen's house, I could definitely tell that he was starving.

"Fine, fine" I murmured with a light hearted chuckle, I stood up and began to make my way into the house with Seth following me. We made it to the living room, it was eerily quiet. I believe Edward, Bella and Ness was at their house, leaving Jacob sulking around in this house. Esme was making I suppose lunch for the wolves, some sort of stir fry. Carlisle was at work till ten thirty at night, leaving my four siblings all camped out in the living room with a sulking wolf.

Rosalie and Alice was talking in a low hush together about some sort of major magazine while Emmett's fingers tap on his controller's buttons in a rush, it sounded like he was going to accidentally jam it at this pace. Seth was already use to our now boring routine, he plopped himself down Jacob with a soft smile on his face.

"So how-"RINNNNNGGGG RINGGGGGGGG" - a cellphone interrupted my sister, Alice. Jacob quickly grabbed it out of his pockets, placing it to his ear.

"Hey, Jake" I heard Leah say on the phone, my heart did skip a beat, she's okay and unharmed. "Sam told me to invite you to the elders meeting, it'll be at the old cliff tomorrow once dark hits."

"Okay, I'll make sure Seth comes along" Jake hummed in agreement, he knows what this is about...it's about me and the hold I have towards her.

"Great. I'll see you tomorrow, I'm at Sue's and Charlie's at the moment." Leah stated, her voice getting somber as she carried on. "I'll stay here for tonight...can you please keep an eye on Simon for me?"

Jake shot a glance to me with shocked eyes at the request and let out a soft sigh before answering 'yes' into the receiver.

"Thank you." Leah thanked Jacob, she was about to carry on until a voice called her. "I gotta go, Mom wants to have a nice supper...tell Seth to get his Sandy ass over here."

"I will, talk to you later." Jacob replied before pressing the red phone button and looking over to Seth, his eyes glancing to the door. Trying to give him a sign. Seth lightly sighed in defeat but smiled in the end, he got up off the couch and made his way out of the house with a little wave to me and Jacob.

"FUUUUCK" Emmett roared as he tossed his controller down angrily, it shattered into bits. I looked in the direction to a failed mission screen, I snickered slightly. Emmett turned to glare at me, it didn't bother me at all.

"Cmon, Em...let's go find some more at the store." Rosalie spoke softly with a sigh at the end, she sounded like she was comforting a baby. Emmett nodded and followed Rosalie's pursuit to the garage while Alice and Jasper just vanished. All the noise that was left was awkward silence between me and Jacob other than Esme occasionally humming while making 'lunch'.

"So, do you think you and Leah could have kids?" Jacob blurted out, his cheeks a shade darker as he followed up with it. "Like take Bella and Edward for example, human and vampire had a child. I don't see the difference with a shifter and vampire."

"She could die?" I answered, he got me into the thought process along with it. Damn him. "Anyways I haven't even had a decent conversation with her!"

"But still...possibility" Jacob mumbled, he gave up on that thought. "Anyways I should go, Nessie should wake up any minute!"

"You better not leave without this food!!!!" Esme hollered out of the kitchen, earning a chuckle from me. I know she loved cooking for the pack, giving her another thing that was normal in this house. Jacob pouted slightly but his stomach growled, he was excited for the meal definitely. "Especially since no one is here to eat this! Just you!"

"Thank god, I don't have to fight Seth for it." Jacob mumbled lowly to himself, earning another chuckle from me.

"I'm gonna go on a shift real quick." I stated, getting up to go to the exit. "Maybe a bird would be relaxing."

"Like for food?" Jacob asked, his nose scrunched up in disgust at the thought.

"No" I scoffed the reply "as in animal to shift."

"Ooooh, to stalk Leah from 'afar'...very clever." Jacob snickered out, I shot him a stern look and let out a light hearted growl.

"No, to clear my mind of her." I replied, I grasped the even temperature door knob. Jacob was laughing behind me at my so called lie, I shook my head as I knew I wasn't going to win this fight.

I opened the door and began to walk out of the house and down the porch before taking shape into a black raven, I let out a noise that came out the way I didn't want it to. Jacob laughed harder as he heard the 'caw', I rolled my round eyes before I took flight above the trees and headed the route towards town.

The clouds were full and grey as I skimmed slightly below it, I looked down at the civilization below until I caught Seth walking calmly to a unfamiliar house.

I swiftly took a landing on a very low tree branch, I cocked my head to see through the uncovered window at a laughing but still quiet looking Leah. It made my heart explode, she was so beautiful but yet 'forbidden'.

I perched my self on a twig that sprouted from the branch and decide to watch how her family interacted with each other, she was so different but yet the same around them. I just couldn't help falling already for her, hopefully she will see it was meant to be.

I sighed in content as watched, unruffling my feathers to seem like a normal bird in a tree.

'Please be mine' I thought to myself
