12.My beloved ghost and me.

Jimmy looked at the stars and then he turned to face Tango.

"There's something I have to tell you before I can tell him what to do..." Tango looked at him.

"What is it then." He said quietly.

Jimmy stared at him as their eyes met.
" I don't want to leave your heart...
I love you Tango... you have no idea how badly.."

The red eyes were locked in his.
"I tried not to.. but when I noticed what was going on, I already fell hard."
Jimmy broke the eye contact.

" I won't tell you sooner because.." Jimmy held his hand up, it was slowly disappearing.

"Jimmy..."Tango tried to grab the hand.

"My heart was shattered... and you heal it Tango."

Tango looked at him.
"Can I do one thing before I lose you.."

"It will ruin your... Tango I'll ruin your." Jimmy was repeating.

Tango smiled tears falling down.
"You won't Jimmy. You could never." He said quietly.

They looked at each other .
When the time finally came, he couldn't fight the truth anymore.
He loves Tango and Tango loves him.

Tango kissed him.

The warm lips on his.

In that moment it's been just the two of them in their own world.
The time stopped and it's been just them wishing for the moment to last forever.

Jimmy looked at Tango for the last time. Their eyes met.

"I love you Tango and I'm sorry -" Jimmy whispers as  his body starts to disappear into gold orbs. They looked slightly like small canary feathers.
Tango held him in his arms until Jimmy disappeared.

"I love you too." Tango fell in the grass, tears rolling down his cheeks.

It hurt... Losing the person you love hurts very badly....
Tango somewhere deep inside knows that he did the right thing.

"You heal Tango" Jimmy's voice stuck in his mind.

Tango went back home, he found the Polaroid photo of himself and Jimmy, Skizz had taken it a few days back. He found a blank photo frame and put it into it.

"Now you can still be here with me Jimmy." Tango said quietly, wishing Jimmy could hear him.

You only noticed how much the person you love means to you, when you lose them.

It's been months since Jimmy disappeared into his peace.

Tango told his friends about Jimmy returning to the afterlife, he decided to skip most of the story... maybe one day he'll tell them...Even though Skizz probably had a few ideas of what happened.

After he told them about Jimmy's situation, all friends stayed with him for the next week or so.

Tango told them they didn't have to stay.
But Zed just punched him.
"We're family still. You can get rid of us that easily."
They laugh.

---A few years later ---

Tango still lives on the ranch, holding on the only thing that Jimmy left... His memories here, memories of his life, death and ghostly time with Tango.

Tango now has a few cows, many more chickens and even horses (one is Bdub's and the other is Scar's.)
He knows Jimmy would love them as much as he does. Tango even got a cat named Flick.

The day was beautiful, birds were singing and Tango was making his morning coffee. He slept over his alarm so he technically didn't need it but it was the routine.

He finishes it and as he starts getting prepped for going out to the animals, he hears a knock on the front door.
Tango wasn't expecting anyone today, (his friends/family had keys so they would just walk in ) he wet to opened the door.

Tango freezes in place as he opens them .
There stood a young blonde man smiling warmly at him, followed by the smell of fresh flowers.

"Um...Hello?" The stranger started
"Sorry to bother you this lovely morning...I'm your new neighbour- just moved here, I'm James Solidarity.. Jimmy for short. I live a  few houses away. At my aunt's house - miss Shadow? She used to work here...I think?"

James noticed Tango staring at him.
"Sorry... You remind me of someone I've known."

"It's alright my aunt says the same thing all the time. Apparently I am really similar to her brother. I never met him, and passed away a long time before I was born."

He started at Tango a few seconds ago.
"You look familiar to... but I'm pretty sure I've never seen you before, I would definitely remember those eyes."
James face went pink.
"I... Sorry... "

Tango giggled under his breath...he was so similar to his Jimmy, it actually hurt.

"Uh ...I didn't catch your name.." James said awkwardly still embarrassed.
Tango looked at him.
"I'm Tango, Tango Tek, it's a pleasure to meet you Jimmy."

James face went pink again as Tango called him Jimmy.
"Tango is quite a unique name...I like it." He smiled softly.

"I hope we'll become great friends." Tango took J̶a̶m̶e̶s̶- Jimmy's hand and shook it.
Maybe there was still a chance he could have a bit of Jimmy again...
In the face of a very similar looking stranger.

"I hope so." J̶a̶m̶e̶s̶ smiled warmly at him.

They stood awkwardly looking at each other.
"Uhh..I think I should get going. The stuff won't move on its own." He laughed.

"Do you want help?" Tango offered.

" Nono, I can handle it, really."Jimmy smiled.
"But maybe we can go out somewhere, someday...If you want." Jimmy blush.

"I would love to.. .
Actually I can give you my number so we can arrange it later?"
"Okay."
Tango quickly ran back for his phone.

They exchanged their phone numbers.

"Thanks..see you later?"

"Sure thing. And if you actually need help moving just give me a call."

"I'll do . Bye Tango"

"Bye Jimmy!" Tango waved, smiling happily.

Tango looked at the picture - the only one  he had with the real Jimmy.

" I miss you.
And
I love you."
He placed it back on the shelf.

" You know..I don't think it's possible but I just meet your reincarnation I think?
He looks like you, has the same humour as you , his voice is the same as yours... And I love him just like I love you."
Tango smiled.
"I told you, you would never ruin me."

Tango's phone rang.
"Hello?"

"Hi Tango, I actually could do with a little bit of help." He heard him laugh.

"No worries , I'll be there in a few minutes. "

" Thanks."

"No problem."

The call ended.

"I'm glad you are happy again Tango.

I love you."

"I love you too."
