"You're dating him," Jungkook said, his voice filled with disbelief and hurt. "I didn't expect to see you with someone else."

"What business is it of yours?" Y/N asked, her voice icy.

Even though many people assumed she and Yoongi were dating, they weren't. Yoongi was a close friend who made her laugh and supported her.

Jungkook struggled to focus on her words, distracted by her exposed olive skin through the sheer nightgown she wore. His desire to pull her close and hold her was overwhelming."You didn't call," Jungkook said, his voice rough with frustration.

"Why are you so angry? You're moving on, and so am I. Do you even go to Anaya's grave?" Y/N retorted.

"Yes, I do," Jungkook answered, his frustration evident. He visited every Sunday, watching her cry, clean the grave, and bring fresh flowers. He never approached her, feeling like a coward. He remembered when he first saw her, he'd have done anything to claim her. Now, he was left feeling powerless.

"We're friends, Jungkook. I appreciate everything you did to help me," Y/N said.

"What do you know about Yoongi?" Jungkook asked, his concern clear.

"I know he makes me laugh. I enjoy spending time with him, and he's really sweet," she explained.

Jungkook shook his head. "You're making a mistake."

"And how would you know that? You don't even know him," Y/N shot back.

"I know people," Jungkook replied.

"You're acting like a crazy person, Jungkook. Please, stop," she said, touching his arm gently.

Jungkook's emotions were a tangled mess, and he knew he couldn't stay. Turning away, he left the apartment, desperate to clear his head.

Y/N watched Jungkook walk away, her heart pounding. He looked so strange that she couldn't pinpoint what he was feeling. She rubbed at her chest, trying to relieve the pain that had suddenly gripped her.

"Sweetheart, what's the matter?" Yoongi asked, squeezing her shoulder as she leaned against him.

"Nothing. I don't know what got into him," Y/N said, closing the door behind her with a feeling of unease.

"You're sad," Yoongi observed.

Y/N shook her head. "I'm just going to the bathroom. Do you want to set up the movie, and I'll be back in a moment?" She kept her head lowered as she moved toward her bedroom.

Once inside, she closed the bathroom door and sat on the toilet, resting her head in her hands. She focused on the floor, trying to make sense of the confusion and pain swirling inside her.

Think, Y/N, think.

Bing with Yoongi was fun and there is nothing between them. They were good friends, and yes, they shared a few kisses, but they didn't set her on fire.

There really wasn't a relationship between her and Yoongi.

"Y/N, are you okay?"

Seeing Jungkook brought back all the feelings she thought she had stopped. He made her heart race and her emotions swirl.

"Honey, are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm coming out."

Flushing the toilet, she washed her hands and splashed water on her cheeks.

Opening her bedroom door, she saw Yoongi leaning against the wall.

"You look a little flushed."

"I'm fine," she said.

Together they walked toward the sitting room. She settled on the sofa while the DVD started to play. "I don't have any diseases," Yoongi said with a teasing smile.

"What?" She frowned, looking toward him.

"You're far enough away."

"Oh, sorry." She slid across the sofa and cuddled up against him. He stroked her arm while she stared at the screen, enjoying his touch.

He's not Jungkook.

She kept her focus on the screen, trying to push her thoughts away. When the scenes on the screen became heated and the characters were about to have sex, she jerked out of Yoongi's arms.

"I'm going to get a soda." She didn't offer him one and rested her head against the fridge.

"Y/N?" Yoongi touched her shoulder and turned her around. "What's going on?"

"Nothing. Nothing is going on." She did her best to smile.

Y/N felt a rush of conflicting emotions as Yoongi's touch lingered on her cheek. He leaned in close, his fingers gently combing through her hair. She felt a shiver run down her spine, the warmth of his touch is oddly comforting despite his being with another man.

"Y/N, are you alright?" Yoongi asked softly, his voice soothing but tinged with concern.

She looked up at him, her gaze filled with confusion. "Yeah, I'm okay. Just a lot on my mind."

Yoongi's eyes softened as he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a gentle embrace. "It's alright to feel overwhelmed. You've been through a lot lately."

Y/N leaned into the hug, appreciating the comfort but also feeling the weight of her unresolved feelings. "Thank you, Yoongi."

He stroked her back, his touch tender and reassuring. "I'm here for you, Y/N. Whatever you need."

As she settled back against him, Y/N tried to push away the lingering thoughts of Jungkook and the emotional turmoil he had stirred up. She focused on Yoongi's presence, reminding herself that he was here for her as a friend and confidant, not a romantic partner.

"Let's just enjoy the movie," Yoongi suggested, giving her a gentle squeeze before letting go. "No pressure, just a good time."

Y/N nodded, trying to relax and shift her focus back to the film.
