the men that
raise their
voices
in an argument
use violence
in a fight
drink glasses of wine
to celebrate their victory
while I stand in their shadow
unable to move
the men that took
my innocence
my mother
my faith
and all that is left
is this uncontrolable
and endless
anger
I am powerless
and alone
because the men
that once swore to
protect me
have only hurt me
