[T]he Black Cat was alive with energy, the kind of buzz that made the room seem like it was moving. Neon lights flickered along the walls, bathing the dimly lit club in alternating waves of purple and blue. The dancers on the floor moved in sync to the rhythm of the music, their bodies illuminated in flashes of the strobe lights. There was an intoxicating mix of sweat and alcohol in the air — everything Kuroo loved in a night out.

Kenma, Kuroo, Bokuto, and Akaashi were seated in a cosy corner booth - strategically positioned away from the dance floor, yet close enough to feel the club's energy without being engulfed by it. Kenma sat hunched over, eyes lazily scanning the room as he tried to tune out the pounding music. Clubs weren't exactly his scene, but he had been dragged along by Kuroo and Bokuto's insistence that they needed a night out. The celebratory energy from MSBY Black Jackal's recent victory was still running high, the brunette hadn't intended on drinking as much as he did, but between Bokuto's infectious enthusiasm and Kuroo's persistence on toasting to every minor event, he found himself several drinks deep.

Kuroo, leaning back with a grin plastered on his face, raised his glass again, though it was more than half empty by now. His cheeks were flushed, and his hair - usually kept somewhat tame -was messier than usual, sticking up at odd angles.

"To us," he announced grandly, motioning to the group with a lazy wave of his glass. "It's been too damn long since we had a night like this."

"To us!" Bokuto repeated loudly, his enthusiasm palpable as he downed his drink in one gulp, despite the fact that he had been drinking just as much, if not more, than the others. His golden eyes glimmered under the club's flickering lights, and his broad grin radiated excitement. "And to our win in Singapore!" he added, his chest puffing out with pride.
