another week had passed after aera's last incident of being caught stealing her fiancé's food during their date. and within the next two weeks, her wedding would take place and her and sunghoon's marriage would be announced to their family's business partners and the general public.
today would be her last date with sunghoon as an engaged couple, one they had decided to spend at the mall, as per both of their wishes. aera had wanted to have a tour around one of world's largest malls and sunghoon had wanted to buy his fiancée something after they had become a newly engaged couple.
after sunghoon had picked up aera from a recently opened sanrio themed aesthetic café where she had been filming her vlog, the pair went to the mall.
just after aera had caught a proper glimpse of sunghoon after entering the car, her eyes couldn't help but travel down his frame, the chocolate brown coloured shirt and black formal pants, a watch and a thin silver bracelet on his wrist, looking way too good on him. aera loved it when sunghoon would roll up his shirt sleeves upto his elbows like he did today, but would she ever admit it willingly? no.
she had wore a white coloured cropped blazer with a sandstone brown miniskirt, along with a heart shaped silver locket, a pair of rectangular shaped diamond earrings and some silver rings as accessories. her hair was tied in a low ponytail, secured by a floral patterned brown scrunchie as a white coloured nylon prada mini purse hung over her shoulder.
as soon as they entered the mall, aera's eyes widened at the sight of a corner shop selling delicious looking ice creams of various flavors. she was about to run towards the shop before her mind replayed the incidents of their previous date where sunghoon had told her to inform him about something instead of abruptly running off to somewhere.
she looked at sunghoon, her eyes hopeful, as she said, "can we get ice cream?"
sunghoon looked at her, a soft smile forming on his face, as he replied, "of course."
aera quickly linked her arms in his, as she dragged him to the shop she had seen earlier.
"hello!" she greeted the cashier with a smile. "can i get a vanilla ice cream in a cone, please?"
"you're more basic than i thought." sunghoon teased aera before she glared at him.
"oh really? well then, pray tell 'mr.i'm different from everyone else', what is your favourite flavor?
she looked at sunghoon in anticipation of what unique flavor he would say.
"a chocolate, also in a cone, please." sunghoon said, looking at the cashier.
"oh lord, this is the first time i'm hearing about such kind of a flavor! does it really exist?" aera said sarcastically as she side-eyed sunghoon.
sunghoon chuckled at her playful behavior before their ice creams were handed to them.
