Y/N had just settled into her hotel room, taking a moment to breathe and relax after the long day. She had barely unpacked when her phone rang. The name on the screen made her smile—Jotaro. She quickly answered, curious about what he wanted."Hey, Jotaro," she greeted, her voice warm.
"Y/N," his deep voice resonated through the phone, "I was thinking... why don't you stay at my place instead of a hotel?"
She chuckled softly. "Thanks for the offer, but I'm okay with the hotel. I don't want to intrude."
Jotaro's voice became more insistent. "You wouldn't be intruding. I'd actually prefer it if you stayed with me."
She hesitated, glancing around her room. "Are you sure? I don't want to be a bother."
"You won't be. Besides, it's safer," Jotaro replied, his tone leaving little room for argument.
Y/N sighed, feeling a bit defeated by his persistence. "Alright, I'll stay with you for a while, but—" She paused, a thought suddenly occurring to her. "Wait, how did you know I was staying at a hotel?"
But before she could get an answer, the line went dead. She stared at her phone, confusion knotting her brow. How *did* he know? Shaking off the uneasy feeling, she packed her things back up and followed the directions Jotaro had given her to his place.
When she arrived, she was taken aback. The directions had led her to a massive mansion, far grander than anything she had expected. Since when did Jotaro live in a place like this? She knocked on the large door, and almost instantly, Jotaro opened it, as if he had been waiting for her.
"Welcome," he said, stepping aside to let her in.
Y/N entered, her eyes wide as she took in the luxurious surroundings. The mansion was enormous, with high ceilings, intricate woodwork, and a grand staircase that looked like something out of a movie. She followed Jotaro as he began to show her around the place, pointing out different rooms and features. It was overwhelming—she could easily get lost in this place.
As they walked down a hallway, Y/N noticed a large door at the end, standing out from the rest. Curiosity got the better of her, and she pointed to it. "What's behind that door?"
Jotaro's expression changed, becoming more guarded. "That's my workplace. It's private."
Y/N quickly nodded, understanding that there were boundaries even between close friends. "Got it. I won't pry."
He then led her to a room that would be hers for the duration of her stay. When he opened the door, Y/N couldn't believe her eyes. The room was massive, with high ceilings and large windows that let in an abundance of light. The bed was king-sized, draped with luxurious linens, and the furnishings were fit for royalty. It was like something out of a fairytale.
"Wow," she breathed, walking into the room. "Are you sure it's okay for me to stay here? This feels... too much."
Jotaro looked at her with an intensity that made her heart skip a beat. "Of course it's okay. You're my Meister, Y/N. I belong to you. Whatever I have is also yours."
His words sent a shiver down her spine, not entirely a pleasant one. There was something in the way he said it that felt almost... possessive. She tried to laugh it off, waving her hand dismissively. "You don't have to say it like that, Jotaro. We're friends, not... you know."
He stepped closer, taking her hand in his. His touch was warm, but it made her pulse quicken with unease. He brought her hand to his lips and kissed it gently, his eyes never leaving hers. "Rest, Y/N. You've had a long day," he said softly before turning to leave the room.
As the door closed behind him, Y/N let out a breath she didn't realize she had been holding. The grandeur of the mansion, Jotaro's sudden intensity—it was all too much. Something in her gut told her that she should leave, that this wasn't right, but she hesitated. She didn't want to hurt his feelings, especially after he had been so kind to her.
But as she looked around the opulent room, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was stepping into something she wasn't prepared for. The mansion, the secrecy, the possessiveness in Jotaro's words—everything felt like a warning she wasn't sure she wanted to heed.
Yet, despite her instincts, Y/N decided to stay, at least for the night. She would figure things out in the morning, she told herself. After all, it was just Jotaro. The same Jotaro who had been her friend for so long. What could possibly go wrong?
As she climbed into the massive bed, her mind raced with thoughts she couldn't quite pin down. But eventually, exhaustion took over, and she drifted into an uneasy sleep, the mansion's many secrets lurking just beyond her dreams.
