SEPTEMBER 14, THURSDAY, 18:35. 'DATE NIGHT'.

The sky's blue is already beginning to melt into soft oranges and pinks as the sun nears its kiss on the horizon. Seungcheol nervously plays into his fingers as he taps the steering wheel to the song playing on the radio, a habit Minghao noticed long ago and this evening is no different.

"Somebody's nervous."

"Mmmm, I mean, not really. I'm fine, Hao."

Minghao relaxes against the car door, staring his buddy down, "It's fine if you are, I would be too if I were in your position." Seungcheol does not respond to this, but now begins to hum along to the melody. "Well, I'm excited. Meeting your Jeonghan is well overdue." They both know there are rather large dashes of sarcasm mixed in with those words, but Seungcheol is caught on something else.

"He's not my Jeonghan." the man says in a small voice. His bottom lip sticks in a pout which seems to only amuse Minghao more. If you don't press his buttons too hard, or with ill-intent, the CEO always provides such cute reactions that contrast adorably with his wildly masculine features.

Minghao laughs and slaps his friend's thigh, "Oh, loosen up a bit, will you! You're about to show off some serious arm candy, a.k.a me. You basically just won the lottery," Minghao still referring to himself, "and should be flaunting it. Use me. What's the point if not to make him jealous?" Minghao's sly grin wavers when Seungcheol shoots him a warning glance. It seems these buttons are a bit more sensitive tonight. "Ok, ok, well I didn't dress up for nothing."

"Yeah, I know. But it's hard to really appreciate it when my little 'arm candy' couldn't decide what pretty rapper it wanted to wear, so now we're late to a very important date."

"Funny. Well they can wait. Would you rather me wear something plain? And I still haven't heard a 'thank you Minghao' for letting you borrow that shirt."

Seungcheol rolls his eyes and, in a mocking voice, says, "Thank you, Minghao."

And, as a friend, Minghao is extremely welcome. When Seungcheol showed up at his place in a dorky green polo and dark jeans, Minghao almost wanted to slam the door on him right then and there. But, he resisted the twitch in his arm wanting to do so. Instead, he knew what had to be done and pulled the man in, dragging him to his sacred walk-in closet. Tonight, that poor man needs a wow-factor to lean on for confidence in case there are any emotions that threaten to waver his oh-so-delicate chill. When Seungcheol slipped on the deep, wine-red silky shirt Minghao threw at him, he was this close to telling him to keep it. Hell, he honestly still might. It complements his protruding, dark features perfectly and the shine subtly catches the light and highlights his muscles with poise. A very classy shirt with the power to envoke some very dark things.

The GPS notifies the fake-couple that their destination is on their right and Seungcheol pulls into the parking lot. It's cute how Seungcheol prefers to drive himself to 'little events' like this, rather than play into the impression of a snobby rich guy who can't do anything without his staff.

Seungcheol can't help but laugh to himself when he sees how Minghao waits patiently in the passenger's seat for Seungcheol to do the gentlemanly thing and open the door for him. He takes his role very seriously, and Seungcheol is perfectly ok with it.
