Becky's PoV

I knew I had to do something. I couldn't bear to see Freen like this, and the thought that I was the cause of her unhappiness was unbearable. So, I made a decision.

One evening, after another silent dinner, I suggested we go out for the night. "Let's go somewhere," I said, trying to inject some enthusiasm into my voice. "Just the two of us. Maybe a night out will do us both some good."

Freen looked at me, her expression neutral. "Okay," she said simply, but there was no excitement in her voice.

We ended up at a cozy little restaurant by the river, the kind of place that was perfect for intimate conversations and romantic moments. The lights were dim, the air filled with the soft sounds of piano music, and for the first time in days, I saw a small smile tug at the corners of Freen's lips.

As we sipped our wine and picked at our food, I could feel the tension slowly beginning to melt away. Freen seemed more relaxed, her shoulders no longer hunched with the weight of her sadness. I knew this was my chance.

"Freen," I said softly, reaching across the table to take her hand. "I've been thinking a lot about what you said... about having a baby."

She looked up at me, her eyes widening slightly, a mixture of hope and apprehension in her gaze. "You have?"

I nodded, squeezing her hand gently. "I have. And... I want to try. I want to have a family with you."

The relief on Freen's face was palpable. Her eyes filled with tears, but this time they were tears of joy. "Really?" she asked, her voice trembling with emotion. "You mean it?"

"I do," I replied, my own voice cracking. "I've been so scared, Freen. The thought of being responsible for a child... it's terrifying. But if it's something you want, then I'm willing to try. I love you, and I want to make you happy."

Freen's face lit up with a smile that was so full of pure, unfiltered joy that it took my breath away. She stood up from her chair, practically leaping across the table to pull me into a tight hug. "Oh, Becky, thank you!" she cried, her voice muffled against my neck. "You have no idea how happy this makes me!"

I laughed, wrapping my arms around her and holding her close. "I think I'm starting to get an idea," I said, my heart swelling with love for this incredible woman who had somehow become my whole world.

Freen pulled back slightly, her eyes shining with tears, but her smile was as wide as I had ever seen it. "I love you so much, Becky," she said, her voice full of emotion. "You're everything I ever wanted."

"I love you too, Freen," I replied, my voice thick with emotion. "And I'm so glad we're in this together."

Freen's joy was infectious. She lifted me off the ground, spinning me around in a circle right there in the restaurant, not caring who was watching. I couldn't help but laugh, my heart light and full of love as I watched her happiness unfold before me.

As we left the restaurant that night, hand in hand, I knew that this was just the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. There would be challenges ahead, but as long as we had each other, I knew we could face anything.

Back home, Freen's excitement was unstoppable. She was like a little kid, bubbling over with ideas and plans for our future family. I couldn't help but smile as I watched her, my heart swelling with love for this woman who had brought so much joy into my life.

That night, as we lay in bed, I could feel Freen's hand resting on my stomach, her fingers tracing gentle patterns on my skin.
"I can't wait to start our family," she whispered, her voice filled with love and anticipation.

"Me too," I replied, my heart full of warmth as I snuggled closer to her. "But let's just take it one step at a time, okay?"

"Of course," Freen said, her voice full of understanding. "We'll do this together, one step at a time."

As I drifted off to sleep, wrapped in Freen's arms, I knew that whatever the future held, we would face it together. And that was all that mattered.
