"It's all here" Lucy says in shock running to her chest.

They laugh as they open their chests, Peter picking up a shield off the ground. "I was so big," Lucy laughs.

"Compared to hundreds of years later when you are younger?" Edmund says.

Peter opens his chest pulling out his sword. "When Aslan bares his teeth winter is met" "When he shakes his mane we shall have spring again" Lucy finishes with tears in her eyes.

"All our friends, Mr Tummnus the beavers. They're all gone" The Pevensie children look down. "I think it's time we found out what's happened" Peter sheethes his sword.

"Do you think Harper is already here?" Edmund asks and Peter feels a surge of happiness at the thought of her.

"I don't know, last time she got here days before us. Let's hope we find her.

After Caspian convinces the Narnians to help they set up camp and Caspian finds the girl standing against a tree staring off into the distance.

"You are very bad at sneaking, "I wasn't trying to sneak." She hums and he stands next to her.

"Who are you?" He asks again and she glances over. "Harper" He nods. "I like that name" She doesn't respond.

"You seem like you have a lot of knowledge of wars" She nods. "Will you help me?" "Of course your majesty" She bows slightly and he glares at her.

"Please don't, you are the first person my age who isn't trying to kill me. I would like to think we could be friends ""I don't do friends" She says. "Maybe I'll change your mind" He smiles and she gets reminded of Peter.

She keeps quiet so he takes that as his cue to leave. "See you later?" She nods and watches him walk away. "He will be a good king," She says, sensing Trufflehunter watching her.

"I agree, Harper you know you will have to face them when they get here" He says and her usual blank face is back.

"I don't have to do anything" She walks off leaving him to sign after the young girl who has lived more lives than anyone in Narnia besides Aslan.

Peter pulls Lucy down after following her into the woods. He puts a finger to his lips pulling out his sword and stepping towards the Minotaur. Halfway there a force is against him and he pulls back immediately hitting back at his attacker. He goes for the head but the boy ducks and his sword gets stuck in the tree. Peter grabs a rock and goes to hit him when Susan yells.

"Peter!"

He turns to see Susan and his other siblings running. Peter drops the rock. "Prince Caspian?" He asks. "Yes, and you are?" he glances down at Peter's sword seeing the lion and looking back up and then at the siblings.

"High king Peter" He says in shock. "I believed you called" He says cockily. "Yes but, I thought you would be older" He looks them over his gaze lingering on Susan.

"Well if you like we could come back in a few years" "No, you're just not what I expected" "Neither are you" Edmund says, narrowing his eyes at the Minotaur. "A common enemy unites even the oldest of foes' ' Trufflehunter says.

"We've recently got swords for your army sire" the mouse says running up to Peter. "Good we will be needing every sword we can get" "Then you might want yours back" Caspian hands Peter back his sword.

"Harper!"

Peter's head snaps up at the name and he turns to see Harper standing next to Glenstorm with her arms crossed. She looks just like she did when she was seventeen but there's a certain darkness in her that wasn't there before.

"Harp" He says in shock, stepping forward but she makes not move to say hi. Hug him. Tell him she missed him.

"Take another step and I'll kill you" She says low and dangerous.

His eyes widened. What happened?" What did he do? She turns around and quickly disappears. He looks back at his siblings and they shrug not knowing either. Peter's heart squeezes, hurting how much she ignored him. He wanted to hug her and hold her tightly. I know it was a year but it wasn't that long.

"What happened?" Peter asks no one in particular. "You don't know?" Trufflehunter says walking up to the kings and queens. "Know what?" Edmund asks.

"We were only gone a year" "Not to her" "What does that mean?" Susan asks. "You were gone for thirteen hundred years" "We knew we were gone long" They start walking with Caspian close by.

"Harper didn't go home" Trufflehunter says sadly. "What do you mean?" Lucy asks. "She has been here for thirteen hundred years" At that news everyone stops looking at him.

"How?" Peter asks. "You, you two are connected and each other's life line. When you became younger, so did she. She aged as you did. She was there for the falling of Cair Paravel and had to watch all her friends die. As soon as she made friends she would outlive them and they would die. On top of that her best friends in her opinion left her" Peters heart cracks and he looks down in guilt.

She will never forgive him.

"Wait, she's Harper Harow?" Caspian asks and Trufflehunter nods. "She was in the stories my professor told me, I assumed she went with you all" "So did we" Susan says as she tries to get her older brother to look at her.

"Where would she be?" Peter asks, his voice wavering. "Probably went ahead to scout, and I wouldn't plan on getting her to talk. She will find you not the other way around" Peter frowns but tries to push his feelings aside and moves to the front to talk to Caspian about strategy.
