Chapter 13

Peter felt what happened before he saw it.

He felt a sharp pain in his stomach and instantly went to find Harper to see her staring down at her stomach with a sword in it and she slowly pulled it out.

"HARPER!" he screams and grabs Lucy's cordial wading as fast as he could across the water.

"HARPER" screams again before reaching the shore and quickly reaching her side lifting her head on his lap. "I-I'm sorry" She says flinching.

"D-don't talk" He says and drops a drop in her mouth. "Y-you" She started to say something but he didn't care.

He didn't care about the fact that if she died he died too. He only cared that she lived.

"Harper?" He blinks through his blurry tears seeing her stop breathing. "Harper! Wake up!" He screams and shakes her lightly.

She doesn't move.

"Wake up, I need you" He says, feeling his body give out too. He's going to die. He's going to die next to the girl he's loved for sixteen years.

"It's not like I can sleep with you yelling" Her weak voice says and he looks at her to see her eyes opening and looking up at him.

"Harp" He lifts her up pulling her against his chest holding her tightly.

"You could have died "she whispers against his chest.

"Are you serious?" He laughs but it's mixed with tears. She pulls away holding his face in her hands. "I shouldn't have been so careless. I'm sorry "

"Shut up" she laughs and smiles at him and his heart flutters besides the circumstance they are in.

"Can I hug her now?" Harper stands up offering Peter her hand as she hugs Edmund tightly. "You alright?" She asks scanning him over.

"Tired" "Me too" She gives him a small smile moving to hug the youngest Pevinsie. "You saved me. Thank you Lu" Lucy giggles.

"It was all Peter" "Meh, he was just worried about dying" Harper jokes and sees Peter's face soften.

She hugs Susan next as the two make sure each other are ok. "Cas, you did good" She says hugging Caspian last. "You too Harper, you too" She pulls away patting his chest.

"Do I get a hug?" She looks beyond Caspian and sees Aslan. She runs forward and quickly hugs him. "I missed you" She whispers and he laughs. "And I missed you dear one"

"I stopped believing '' She admits lowering her head in shame. "We all have hard times Harper, the Pevinsies are your rock who brought you back"

"Thank you for coming back Aslan" he gives her a soft smile.
