Harper is paired up with Caspian as the oldest of the group make their way to the castle quietly.

"Caspian" Harper nods her head to where a book is with one of Susan's arrows in it. "He's probably in the dungeon" Harper nods agreeing with him.

"I'll get the professor," She says. "I'm coming with you" Caspian says and she shakes her head. "I'm faster, get to the gate" "I'm going with" Harper groans annoyed.

"Caspian go with Harper, gets the professor and meets us at the gate," Susan says, glancing at her brother who is glaring hard at Caspian for being so close to Harper.

Harper pulls Caspian by the sleeve of his shirt and they separate.

"Peter calm down," Susan says.

"I'm calm" He says, gritting his teeth hard.

"Five more minutes?" Caspian jokes unlocking the professor as Harper knocks out a guard. "What are you doing here? I didn't get you out just to come back in" The professor snaps.

"Getting you out of here" "Don't underestimate your uncle as your father did" Harper looks down at Caspian with that confession.

"Caspian, later we n.." But he was already gone pushing past her. "Come on professor" She holds out a hand and leads him to the stable. "I'll be back, get out as soon as that gate is open" She says and goes to leave when he places a hand on her shoulder.

"You're Harper Harow?" "Yes" He nods, smiling. "You mother was a wonderful woman" She pulls away swallowing hard and making her way out and to the gate. Just as she reaches it the others join her.

"You ok?" She asks Caspian, touching his arm as he flinches. "Fine" Peter starts opening the gate.

"Peter, we don't have time!" Harper snaps as the bells start sounding. "I can do this!" He says stubbornly. "Exactly who are you doing this for?" Susan says.

They exchange looks and quickly join Peter. "If these people die, it's on you" Harper growls at him and a look of hesitation flashes over him before going back to pushing. They get the gate open and the army starts entering the gates.

"FOR NARNIA!" Peter yells and Harper runs in, starting to take down soldier after soldier with her sword. Halfway through the fighting Harper gets an arrow in her leg and winces before ripping it out quickly and stabbing a soldier in the neck with it.

"Harper!" She turns to see Caspian riding a horse towards her. She lifts her hand up and he pulls her behind him and out the gate.

"Wait! What about the others?" She asks as they get out of the gate. Caspian doesn't respond. They reach the bridge and she sees Peter staring at the Narnians.

This is his fault. She told him to call it off.

"I'm going to kill him," Harper whispers. Peter jumps the bridge and we start riding and they look up to see Edmund flying. Thank goodness he's ok.

After a few minutes the screams stop and Harper squeezes her eyes shut.

No matter how many battles she's been in, you don't get used to innocent people dying.

Lucy is waiting for them when they get back. Caspian jumps off and goes to help Harper but she jumps off wincing and leaning against the horse as she forgot about her leg. Looking down she sees it bloodied and her pants are soaked.

"What happened?" Lucy asks in her sweet innocent look. "Ask him" Peter says and Harper glares. These people just lost friends and family and he's going to start an argument.

"Me?" Caspian asks. "If you had stuck to the plan those people wouldn't have died" "And if we stayed here like Harper and I suggested they definitely would be'' Caspian turns around being the mature one walking in the how.

"You called us, remember?" "My first mistake" Harper agrees with Caspian on that one.

"No, your first mistake was thinking you could lead these people" Caspian seemingly done shakes his head turning around.

"You, your father, Narnia's better off without the lot of you!" Caspian screams and pulls out his sword.

Harper jumps in between giving Caspian a look as he lowers the sword and storms inside.

"Do you have to make everything worse?" She says to Peter and his face falls and she clenches her fists following Caspian.
