There wasn't a room that Hunter went in that didn't have destroyed windows or a hole in the wall. She wanted to be alone just to sit and re think her whole fucking life. Charles was the one who came in the bar with Erik to try and recruit Logan, not Hunter. It makes her wonder, was Charles trying to kill her? Either way, Hunter was on edge. Part of her would of loved to tear Shaw and his minions apart, not that she was strong enough to do that. Peter would of let her attack them. Which also made her wonder how was Peter doing? Hopefully he hadn't forgotten about her in a few hours.

Buried in her thoughts, she didn't realise whom she just assumed was Raven, entered.

"I'm not coming outside with you all Raven- oh it's you" Hunter said bluntly looking at who she thought was Raven but was actually Charles.

"No, no, but I would be flattered to have her looks" Charles chuckled.

"What do you want?" Hunter scoffed.

"I don't think we've properly introduced ourselves" Charles said, sitting opposite her.

"Why should I explain to you? Because if I'm right, your the one who told me to come here yesterday and what happened? We got ambushed, Charles" Hunter explained as she began to feel her temper rising. "I mean I haven't even had an explanation why I'm here"

"I understand. But at least you deserve and explanation."

"You think?" Hunter said sarcastically.

"The man who attacked you all, his name was Sebastian Shaw, he's trying to start an uprising. Mutants against human civilisation." Charles began.

"You were the one he was after... Don't worry. Uh, this Shaw dude, he approached us all and asked Azezeze- whatever the red bloke's name was if the telepath was there." Hunter explained.

"And you thought they were after you, didn't you?" Charles asked calmly.

Looking down, Hunter didn't answer.

"Why would they be annoyed at you?" Charles asked.

"I.. I didn't tell you that" Hunter mumbled suspiciously.

"The perks of being a telepath now, I certainly know Raven isn't angry with you" Charles reasoned.

"Alex is" Hunter mumbled.

"What makes you think that?" Charles questioned.

"I can tell.... but why are you scared?" Hunter asked, wrapping herself up in a ball.

Charles hesitated before he spoke again.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't of-" the brunette began to apologise.

"You shouldn't apologise for your powers Hunter" Charles said.

Shaking the guilt of her shoulders, she placed her chin down on her arms. "So what are you going to do now? I mean it's not safe to stay here anymore"

"Well, I know a place but it's up to you if you come" Charles told her.

"Can I think about it?" Hunter asked quietly.

"Of course. But you do know if you don't come, Raven will be disappointed" Charles smiled.

"I can live with that" Hunter smiled softly.

"Well, I do hope to see you again. I think you and Erik would get along well" He said, getting up.

"Take your blue eyes somewhere else Xavier" Hunter scoffed with a slight grin.

"Alright alright, I'll go. Goodbye Hunter" Charles finally said.

Without saying anything, Hunter nodded. She wasn't planning on going back with Charles and the others. But something was telling her to. But she just shook the thought off, knowing that she could be back to her version of 'home.'
