It was the day of the Paris Peace Accords and Trask was as confident as ever. Confidently, he walked into the Peace Accords meeting, silencing the other Generals in the room.
"Good afternoon everyone, hello. Thankyou for coming" He greeted as he stood by the table. "congratulations on winning this war. Now I know you all have hands to shake and photo's to take downstairs so I will get straight to the point" Trask explained as he straightened out his suit.
"There is a new enemy out there. An enemy that will render your arsenals useless, your armies perilous and your nation's defenceless. You'll need a new weapon for this war. I call them sentinels." Trask spoke.
Meanwhile outside, Erik, Hunter, Charles, Hank and Logan made their way into the building and sped up to the meeting room.
"Named after the ancient guardians that stood at the gates of the Citadel. What makes the sentinel so special is the ability to target the mutant x gene."
To his left, Trask was passed a pear shaped 2d object. "with this weapon there will be no human collateral damage, if I turn it on the system couldn't even activate in here"
That's when a red bar appeared on the the weapon, making a beeping noise. "Unless... there's a mutant in here"
He stopped as the object got louder when he pointed it at The Vietnamese General who sat suspiciously, making the other generals in the room look at him with a panicked look.
"There has to be some kind of mistake" The Vietnamese general spoke.
"My machine's don't make mistakes" Trask said bitterly.
"I don't know what your talking about" He said as he was approached by several people in the room.
As his arm was grabbed his hand turned blue. Kicking one general out of his grip, the rest of his body began to turn blue, revealing himself as Raven. As Mystique. Putting another man in a headlock she threw him on the floor as she jumped onto the table, pummel horse kicking someone who came running at her. A man came running at her with a gun but she pushed him down and slid off the table and creeping under the table, roundhouse kicking someone across the ankles. When all the men were down, she grabbed the gun on the table and pointed it at Trask who cowered away in the corner.
"Raven" Charles called out, making her stop as they walked into the room.
But on the floor, one of the guards who stood beside Trask earlier, electrocuted her, making her fall onto the table in pain as electricity surged through her body.
"Raven? Raven?" Charles repeated as she struggled on the table.
Before Erik or Logan could think about attacking the man responsible, Hunter stepped forward with her hand out, flicking her fingers as the man's neck did a full three sixty degree turn, all of his bones snapping as he fell to the ground.
"Fucking cunt" Hunter scoffed.
Meanwhile on the table, Raven struggled as she tried to take deep breaths. "Charles?"
"We came for you" Charles smiled as he gently stroked her forehead. "Erik and I, together"
Making Hunter frown at Charles ignorance, she turned to Raven with her arms crossed. She didn't know how to feel whilst looking at her friend who struggled on the table. She had so much to say to Raven but didn't know the words.
"I thought I would never see you again." Raven smiled.
"I made a promise a long time ago that I would protect you" Charles told Raven.
Beside Hunter, Logan stumbled backwards into the wall. His breathing was shaky and he went as white as a ghost. Turning around to face him, Hunter tilted her head, "Logan...?"
