Sentinels. Creatures all mutants among them all thought were gone for the rest of the worlds existence. Mutants lived in fear of Sentinels because of their deathly ambitions to hunt down mutants and exterminate them as well as being capable of projects energy blasts, and being able to detect mutants. They possess vast physical strength, and their bodies are highly resistant to damage. Some are able to alter their physical forms or re-assemble and reactivate themselves after they have been destroyed making them almost impossible to fight.
Finally the jet landed and one by one, they each filed out. Orore led the way who was followed by Logan, (who also thought it would be a good time to light a cigar much to Hunter's annoyance.) then Hunter, Charles who hovered above the stairs in his adapted wheelchair and finally Erik. Some enemies should just stay enemy's.
They all walked through several old colosseum poles and sometimes an occasional flash which would surround them all. Infront of them, three men stared them down.
"Professor" A man with a beard called out as he nodded at his men to stand down.
"Bobby" Orore smiled as they hugged.
"Hey Storm" He returned.
"Never thought I would see you again Bobby" Hunter smiled from beside Logan.
"you haven't aged a day, Hunts" Bobby smiled as he walked over to the brunette and giving her a hug.
"Only a few grey hairs" Hunter responded.
"Hey kid" Logan said a little gruffly, giving a small nod.
Nodding back, they were interrupted by someone else. "Professor. You made it" she said with a smile as she walked down the stairs, stopping when Bobby stood next to her, taking her hand in his and making Hunter frown. She was certainly not Rogue. But she was Kitty Pryde.
The professor smiled at the girl without saying anything but Hunter could tell, he was happy to see her.

They were all led into a darkly lit room with only candles and a few pictures as Kitty began to explain to them all about the sentinels.
"When the sentinels attack, Warpath spots them..." Kitty explained as someone who Hunter just assumed was Warpath walked past. "...then I send Bishop back to warn us of the attack before it happens..." Hunter recognized Bishop from earlier who was draped in a red cloak. "...Blink scouts the next site..." Kitty nodded at Blink who sat on a nearby rock, filing her nails. "....aaand then we leave before they ever know we are there"
"Because... we never were" Warpath adds on.
"What do you mean you never there?" Logan asks with a frown on his face.
"She projects Bishop back in time a few days to warn the others of the coming attack" Charles explains.
"So she sends Bishop back in time?" Logan asks.
"No, just his consciousness, into his younger self, his younger body."
"Wow" Logan mumbles.
"This might just work Charles" Erik spoke up.
"What might work?" Kitty asked, looking at the two men in confusion.
"The sentinel program was originally conceived by Doctor Bolivar Trask. In the early '70s, he was one of the worlds leading weapons designers. But covertly, he had began experimenting on mutants using their gifts to fuel his own research. There was one mutant who had discovered what he was doing" Charles spoke as Hunter looked down, knowing exactly who he was talking about.
