Charles and Hunter sat in the dimly lit kitchen drinking beer and Whiskey and eating brownies and pretzels. As they spoke it was like they had nothing to worry about and all their troubles had disappeared like they never happened.

As Charles got up to go to the fridge, in the doorway a blue figure stood there staring at him. It was Raven.

"You know sometimes I wonder what life would of been like if you hadn't found me in here that night"

"Sorry what?" Charles said as he pulled his head out the fridge with another beer bottle. "you...auegaah." Watching Charles closely, Hunter saw the man physically jump as he looked everywhere but Raven as he shut the fridge door. "for gods sake Raven. Where are your clothes, put some clothes on"

Hunter smirked slightly as Charles' reaction as he turned to her for help. Hunter just shook her head and raised the beer bottle to her lips again.

Raven quickly responded, "That's not what you said when you first saw me. I guess pets are always cuter when they're little right?" She asked as she sat down opposite from Hunter on the other side of the table.

"Raven I don't know what's gotten into you lately, I thought you would be in a good mood" He asked as he walked back over to the table. "Hank, he tells me he's found the answer for your cosmetic problem"

Shuffling uncomfortably knowing it was probably her time to go, Hunter got up and put the beer bottle on the draining board for whoever next went over to the sink to deal with.

"oooo-kay I think this seems like a you thing you need to sort out so i'm gonna go" Hunter said awkwardly as she made her way to the door, "oh and Raven, what's the point of being in your mutant form when you can't even accept yourself?"

Nodding at Charles, she walked out the kitchen and made her way to the living room where Alex stood by the window. Groaning, she flicked on the light, possibly blinding him as he shielded his eyes with his hands as he turned round to look at the brunette.

"What do I owe the pleasure Summers?" Hunter deadpanned as she folded her arms.

"Christ, I can't believe I'm asking you this. right, oh dear god-"

"Just spit it out dipshit" Hunter snapped at the stammering boy.

"I need your help"

Her eyes widened at the boy as a smile formed on her face. "No. your joking, tell me your joking"

"Don't make a big thing out of this" Alex mumbled.

composing herself, she nodded. "Right, I'm not. I'm totally chill about it. chill"

"I need your help"

"you do!?" Hunter beamed a smile.

"I told you not to make a big deal about it"

"Right of course" Hunter nodded with a massive smile on her face.

After practically dragging Hunter down to what she thought was a storm shelter or a war bunker, Alex held onto both sides of her arms and he placed Hunter beside two other mannequins and stood back. The bunker was dimly lit with only a few torches and was rather claustrophobic for Hunter.

"do I get an explanation?" Hunter complained as she folded her arms.

"Look, your here for if things go wrong." Alex simply explained, leaving Hunter even more confused.

"wait what? Woah woah woah I didn't agree to this" Hunter shook her head. "I've got things to live for- well i hope I do or my case is fucked"

"just shut up" Alex mumbled as he rolled her eyes.
