as the night wore on, baela, rhaena and zaephyr lounged on the twins bed, their bodies intertwined with soft blankets and shiny pillows. the air was filled with a sense of comfort and nostalgia.

baela and rhaena were in the corners, zaephyr was in the middle, feeling comfortable and at ease in their company. she couldn't help but notice how comfortable her sisters looked too.

"i've missed this." baela mumbled, her arm thrown over the youngest, who was curled up next to her.

"i always hoped we would see each other again, but not under circumstances like this." her voice soft and tinged with sadness

a wave of emotion washed over rhaena. she knew zaephyr was right, the circumstances of their reunion were not the ones they had hoped for.

rhaena placed a comforting hand on zaephyr's arm. "this is what mother would of wanted, for us to reunite again." she murmured.

"did father said anything to you... about mother?"
as zaephyr's question hung in the air, rhaena let out a small sigh. she knew zaephyr was looking for answers, for some kind of closure.

"no." baela began, her voice lowered. "you know he never really cared about us."

zaephyr's eyes widened slightly at baela's words. she knew deep down that her sister was right, that their father had never shown them much love or attention.

"oh, yes..." she murmured, her voice tinged with a hint of bitterness.

"at least we still have grandmother and grandsire." rhaena replied.

as rhaena spoke, zaephyr felt a pang of guilt. she knew her sisters were fortunate to have those deeper connections, while she herself felt like an outsider.

"yes..." she tried to keep her voice neutral, but it was difficult. "at least we have them."

baela noticed the change in her sister's demeanor. sensing her sadness, she gently squeezed zaephyr's shoulder, offering a silent show of comfort.

rhaena also picked up on zaephyr's behavior, and she too, gave her a comforting look.

the girls sat now in silence for several moments, their thoughts swirling in their minds.

"where is mother's dragon? does anyone know where vhagar could possibly be now?" rhaena broke the silence, her voice soft and curious.

"she's probably hidden somewhere, she must be feeling so much pain, too. her and mother were very close."

as baela spoke, zaephyr's chest ached with sympathy. she knew that vhagar would be hurting just as much as they all were.

for a moment, the atmosphere was calm.
as an idea suddenly took shape in zaephyr's mind, her eyes widened in realization. "we should go find her! and rhaena... you should go and claim her yourself."

"you're right..." rhaena replied with a sense of excitement now.

zaephyr rised up from the bed and sit down on the in the window with a view, where the beautiful beach could be seen. the moon shone brightly, casting a silvery glow over the beach below. the rolling waves of the sea, the moon reflected on the surface like a mirror.

zaephyr's sharp eye caught sight of a large shadow in the night sky. her eyebrows furrowed. "come see this!" she called loudly, gasping.

they quickly rushed to the window, their eyes scanning the sky for whatever zaephyr had seen.

"is that—" baela's realization hit her like a bolt of lightning, and rhaena stood there with her mouth agape.

"vhagar."
