Chapter 13: An Important improvement

Rishi's alarm rang for the nth time and he got startled, opening his eyes suddenly, he started muttering curses on himself and ran to bathe..

After a quick bath he wore the first clothes that came in his hands and set his hair while running around to pack the bag..

He rushed to the living hall to see no one around..he saw a casserole and sighed.. probably his bhaiya had made everything already..

He looked in and found aloo parathe and beamed in happiness..

They were warm and tasty, he quickly stuffed 2 Parathas in a roll and ran outside to catch the bus, after locking the door..

Chirag glared at the informer:"I told you to follow Shaanti ji right? Where did she disappear when you were so alert? Hmm?".
The informer was looking down, Chirag banged his hand on the file:"So rahe the?"

The informer nodded scared, Chirag rubbed his temples:"Get out right now, aur meherbani karke us aurat ko dhundho aur mujhe batao"

The informer nodded and ran out..

Chirag set an alert for the police to find this missing lady..

Chirag was sure she would try to run away...

He began collecting the clues of the two cases and then joining them, to find one connection..

He was working when he heard Jigar barge in the cabin...

Before Chirag could say anything, Jigar shouted:"Tum kar kya rahe ho? Mera beta abhi tak gayab hai.."

Chirag turned to him:"We're trying our best to find him...pls calm down.."

Jigar was no where close to calm and before Chirag could call someone, Jigar held him by the collar:"Mere bete ko nahi dhundha na tumne toh tumhe chodunga nahi mai..if something happens to him, I'll make sure you lose your power". Chirag pushed him back and spoke:"Jo karna hai kar lena, abhi mujhe kaam karne do, hum aapke bete ko dhundh rahe hain..you need to co-operate.."

Jigar was about to speak when the other officers came in, he glared at them and warned them before leaving..

Simran spoke as he left:"We need to give the killer a bait now, this is going out of our hands..".
Chirag shook his head:"Not all, we have a lead"

He turned to the billboard:"Devin was taken from the garden road, which had no CCTVs because they had been damaged and the road authorities were replacing them..this vital date reaches the government, so point 1..we need to find the mole in the government that is helping the killer..
Another interesting fact is that the killer so conveniently left his house open, that could be traced by his IP address.. either the killer is too dumb or he has deliberately put this to distract us.. meaning Simran may or may not be his next target..
And going to Ronny's case, we looked into details and we think he went missing from the last delivery point of his drugs, that is, SP ring road..which is around a forest..

So the killer has two patterns, one he chooses less populated and no CCTV zones, and second he chooses areas around the forest.. probably to drag the target for sadistic pleasure..

And finally my guess on this whole mole thing indicates towards Shaanti ji, she's missing and when I interrogated her, she was nervous.."

The team quickly began working on these leads, and Chirag felt they would soon close in on the culprit..

He called the cyber team again, to find out more about the fake id of Sheena Roy..

The IP address was active again and that meant the killer was looking for a new target, which probably meant Devin was dead... Chirag's grip on the phone tightened and he was angry at himself for delaying it...he hoped Devin was alive..

The killer saw Shamsher's arrest news, his blood boiled realising his boss was captured..
He knew he couldn't risk getting caught by going to meet Shamsher and so he put the thoughts of Shamsher away..

He went back to Devin, who was unconscious after the last session he had done...

The killer wanted to do something unique this time, to avenge his boss's arrest and for that he wanted to gift the CBI two bodies...

He looked at the Instagram, his fake id Sheena Roy was back to lure another boy in his trap, a 24 year old bartender, who had a hidden disability, he was bisexual...

The killer considered all such terms as poor and a stigma to the society..

The bartender was Ishan Dave, the killer's new target...

He packed and messaged Ishan a quick bye and began tracking Ishan's location through his Instagram stories..

The killer was hooded as he followed Ishan discreetly...he was eager to understand Ishan's tracks, to find out the place he could be abducted from..

Chirag smiled as he finally got a big lead...the cyber team had been able to crack the actual location of the fake account...it was only once when the app had been able to detect his location, which was very different from the address they had got earlier..

Chirag had an instinct that he would get something important from this address..

Chirag and the team surrounded the place, and with precise steps, entered the warehouse with guns.

They were met with a silence and they probed further. They divided themselves to search the whole warehouse.. but they found no one.. Chirag and Rey were approaching the last room and they opened the door to see Devin.

He was bound and unconscious, Rey checked his pulse and sighed in relief, he was breathing.

Some officers took Devin to the hospital, while Chirag, Simran, Rey and Shekhar looked for more evidence in the warehouse.

They collected all the samples they got from each room, and Rey took them for further analysis in the forensic bureau.
