Chapter 4: An Emotional Chirag

Chirag:"Kitne de sakte ho?"

Rishi:"1/4th jitna de dunga..I've that much in spare"

Chirag:"Savings hai vo?"

Rishi nodded..

Chirag scolded:"Ek number ke idiot ho tum, kya zarurat thi ek government website ko hack karne ki.. curiosity ke chakkar mein saari savings gava doge?"

Rishi looked down, he was very sad..

Chirag rubbed his face, usually he could scold people like a cakewalk, but today his own brain was haphazard..

He spoke:"Keep the savings"

Rishi looked up shocked:"Toh fine kaise?"

Chirag took out his wallet and handed him some money..it was half of what the fine was..Rishi hesitated, but Chirag closed Rishi's fist with the money..

He said:"Baaki ka kal lete jaana, and I want it returned to me within 6 months..got it?"

Rishi's eyes filled up, since the time his parents died, he had been struggling with money..his foster parents weren't very rich..there was one FD left for him..he had used that money to educate himself..
He knew the value of each rupee, and rarely someone had offered him kindness..

He hugged Chirag, overwhelmed with the kindness..

Chirag was too shocked to think anything..

His brain froze the second Rishi hugged him..

Chirag blamed this on his trauma...

He gulped and looked down..

He sighed and carefully patted Rishi's back..

Rishi mumbled:"Thank you so much sir, aap...aapko nahi pata how much you're helping me.. I'll pay back very very soon.."

Chirag nodded and broke the hug:"Ok now stop crying, aur ye lo Mera card.."

Rishi nodded, taking it..

He felt guilty of having to take money from him..

Chirag:"And this is not a pity, you're not taking money from me, you're taking a loan, that you'll be repaying, so don't feel guilty.."

Rishi looked up shocked, Chirag almost smiled..

Rishi:"You read minds?"

Chirag chuckled and pulled his cheek:"Work teaches you everything.. come at the Rajshree Tiffin centre tomorrow, around 12 PM..I'll be there with the rest of the money..seedha fine bharne jaana, samjhe?"
Rishi nodded with a smile..

Chirag:"And Don't you dare cut on savings... expenses ko reduce karke kar sako, toh mujhe repay karne ke liye paise bachana...savings utni hi rehni chahiye, they're a priority.."

Rishi nodded:"I know sir, main koi fizul ke expenses in mahino nahi karunga, I'll pay back on time.."

Chirag:"Don't take pressure about it, stress kaam kharab karta hai, sudharta nahi..take care.."

He gave him a small smile and left..

Rishi closed the door with a relief smile..

He went back to his laptop to close it, when he saw what Chirag had done..

He had put codes to all hacking websites, now Rishi couldn't use chrome to access any websites..

Rishi would have got irritated, but he felt happy..

In his childhood his parents too used to not let him access internet when he had done some serious mistake..

To Rishi, it didn't look like an officer's punishment, it looked like a guardian teaching him the right thing..
