Chirag went in the kitchen and brought a glass of water for Rishi, who had it gratefully..
They sat in silence for a few minutes, Chirag was gathering courage to tell him the truth, but his head was full of Shamsher's words, he was not able to look past his parents' death..
Rishi saw him fiddling with fingers, Chirag's toes going up and down in random motion...
He understood Chirag was nervous, but why?
Chirag looked up at Rishi and then looked down again, he buried his face in his palms..
He was trying to calm down but his heart was palpitating..
He had only wanted to meet his parents once, and they were never alive...
He controlled himself but broke down as he felt Rishi hugging him..
Rishi sat beside Chirag as he began crying badly..
Chirag buried his head in Rishi's shoulder, trying to muffle his cries..
Rishi, surprisingly, didn't feel awkward as he usually would..
He felt upset seeing him cry, but he knew it was necessary..
He rubbed his back, letting him cry..
Chirag's body wrecked with sobs and his hold on Rishi increased..he was so scared to lose him too..
Rishi held him till his sobs turned down..
Chirag was hiccuping as they broke the hug, and Rishi went in to get him some water..
Chirag nodded gratefully and drank it in a go..
His hiccups died down gradually..
Rishi sat beside him again, but Chirag just couldn't look at him..
Rishi:"Bhaiya, are you ok now?"
Chirag nodded, Rishi tapped his shoulder:"Pls don't be embarassed, aapne bhi toh meri help ki thi na, maine bhi kardi.."
Chirag sighed:"Thank you Rishi, and sorry for making this awkward for you..pata nahi kya ho gya tha mujhe"
Rishi:"Vo bad guy, Shamsher I guess, usne kuch kaha tha na?"
Chirag glanced at him, and nodded..
Rishi:"Accha, aap kuch important batane Wale the.."
Chirag:"Haan...but you'll have to be patient, you'll have to wait till I explain you everything, pls pls don't react and leave..listen first, ok?"
Rishi:"You're scaring me Bhaiya.."
Chirag:"It's not scary Rishi, it's very important to me."
He cupped Rishi's face with one hand:"Rishi tujhe pata hai na ki tu adopted hai?"
Rishi nodded.
Chirag:"Do you know anything about your real parents?"
Rishi shook his head:"I only know that they left me for my safety, I tried asking mumma papa the reason but they told me my actual parents wanted me to stay safe and since my foster parents didn't have kids, they handed me over to them.. apparently for my safety"
Chirag sighed:"Did they tell you anything about you having a sibling?"
Rishi shook his head:"Mom dad said ki sirf mere real dad aaye the, mujhe unke paas rakhne..mere foster dad ki ek cloth shop thi, mere actual dad unhe acche se jaante the since he was a regular customer..they had befriended each other few days back and my dad had told him about them having no kid due to complications....
When my actual father handed me over, he was not in the best condition, he had requested my foster father to keep me hidden, to take me away from Allahabad..he didn't tell anything else, and nor did my parents.."
